Cool, but Quero is not an Angels minor leaguer, so doing it in this thread is stupid.  There are plenty of threads to complain about the trade in where it would actually be relevant

Edgar Quero update: doing much better in the White Sox org, hitting .311/.400/.460 in 20 games.
But we got a month of Giolito!

Take away the Detroit sweep (mediocre team) though, and they were 5-10 before the Toronto series when the 25 game stretch against over .500 teams started.   Not exactly truly playing like a contender in the long run.

For the first time, I am possibly open to a Trout trade.   He will have to show that he can stay healthy first, though.

I've been having posters whine and cry to me that i'm always posting negative comments and such.  But look at the facts and the organization's actions.  When something positive happens, i'll post about it and certainly will enjoy that moment.  However, it's all crap and clown show.  Anyone who thinks otherwise and is enjoying this organization and supporting their actions is clueless and living in a dream world.    

I don’t even think buying was a bad idea. Execution was poor and the play has been awful. Not to mention Ohtani and Trout being hurt. 

Are people really pissed though, or just getting a good laugh out of it? Nobody cares that those guys are gone but it underscores the futility of the whole exercise. 

I think the pissed off reaction is that (at least for me) we should have traded these guys at the deadline and/or not acquire them to begin with.
It's like a husband asking what he should do after he cheated on his wife. Well....you shouldn't have cheated on her to begin with.....the correct decision now (putting everyone on waivers) still can generate being pissed even if it is the best decision.

Every team out of the playoffs for the last thirty years have placed players on waivers seeing if they can dump salary. Some place players on waivers before the trade deadline to see if there is any interest. This is actually called good resource management. 
Now, go back to your hand wringing, ladies.

I saw it..
1. I said Arte is either saving for Luxury Tax.
2. They spoke with Ohtani and all the BS news stories about surgery etc.  He's said he is gone!
3. Arte is selling all or a controlling interest in the club.
4. Arte told everyone we are cleaning house everyone is gone at the end of the season!
5. MLB & Players Association will be investigating this.
6. The fans got screwed... 
7. A single AA Catcher and a borderline prospect doesn't mean anything to me.
