Cron is a complete dilemma. He seems to be terrible in a platoon role, doesn't give any diversity, and unless people get injured he probably will not play back to back games. He just doesn't fit on this roster.

I would imagine Cozart is our 2019 starting 2B, with machado at 3b right?

Not trying to be negative here, but if i had to choose between the "2017" Cozart or the "2016 and before" Cozart showing up in Anaheim next year then i would choose the latter every time. Bringing in Cozart would end up being a platoon signing between him and valbuena with Cozart being backup for 2B and SS. I think Cozart would be a great fit and give us flexibility..... Just not at starter money. He is a platoon guy who was headed that direction until he had a breakout year at 31 in a contract year.

I would imagine most teams would rather face Ervin Santana and the Twins lineup than Richards with Trout and Upton in the Angels lineup.

His bat flips on singles, walks, and GIDP's gives our team a mental edge.

Was watching the game with my 9 year old son a week ago. Son says "pujols is not good anymore dad but he is probably the best only 50 year old in baseball" Even after my telling him his age and showing him on the internet, he still thinks pujols is 50.

Any 2018 plans should not include Richards. Of course you keep him on the team but you cannot count on him. IMO he has to earn his 2018 spot and show he is healthy once the season starts.

Cowart looked like dogshit the one time he got out yesterday. There's things he can work on. Marte, Valbuena, and Espinosa just need AB's. If they get hot they can carry this team.

If EY is still hitting when Trout comes back then we play him at DH. Cron has been terrible. This offense can't sit Maybin or Young if they are both hitting.

Bandy has the bat to be our DH/cleanup hitter.

I would drop him to fifth and put Escobar 4th, bat Valbuena in the leadoff spot. No doubt, this offense sucks. But I would at least put my 2nd best hitter behind the guy that is getting on base almost every other AB. Would it work? Probably not, but at least try something, just something new to try to get this offense and team going. Piss off Albert by dropping him to the 5 spot. Do something.

Scioscia still has Pujols hitting cleanup. Our offense sucks but it doesn't suck that bad.

At some point management is just going to have to admit that he is one of the worst DH's in the league and an awful offensive player which means they will have to eat the cost. The problem is that right now, Espinosa and Cron suck more than Albert and we need to find replacements for them.

That combo is going to light the halo at least 20 times this year. We will win the west.....i know it is not true but there is a part of me that thinks it will happen. I love being a halo fan. Can't wait for the season to start!

Very Sad. Waller was a great dude and one of the originals. Definitely had a huge part in building this place into what it is. He was a guy that I would have always like to meet. Always very cordial with everyone on the site. His kids must be heartbroken right now. Great to know that they will always have THAT memory of their dad. That last day, what a great memory. It will last forever with them. He will be missed. Sad seeing people in the aw.com community move onto the next life especially Waller being so young and with young influential growing kids he loved so much. Would love to see a link posted of something we could do.

still waiting to hear what crazy things Bronco did at New Mexico, Oregon State and Northern Arizona. I personally think Bronco is a terrible head coach and should have been fired three years ago but he has always been a class act and stand up guy. He is known as one of the good guys in college football from everything I have heard from other coaches. So if he is a bad guy I would love to know because that would give me all the more reason to want him fired. What do you got Nate?
