With Trout, it's always that front foot, he needs to get it down in time. That and I sort of feel like he's getting screwed by some piss poor officiating lately which is forcing him to swing at pitches outside of the zone. Combine that with the offense being terrible and him pressing and you have the makings of a slump.

    So updated AAA infield...
    1B - Thaiss, Carter, Fernandez
2B - Fernandez, Fletcher, Fontana, Johnson, Cowart
    SS - Fletcher, Fontana, Cowart
3B - Ward, Fernandez, Cowart, Johnson.
Fernandez really needs to be promoted.

Also, word is Jeremy Rhoades got promoted. He was a former two time top 30 prospect from my MWAH days.
92-94 fastball with movement and what used to believe was the best slider in the system.

I think you nailed it with the human element. Getting promoted isn't just about production. When younger guys show progression, the team rewards them. And the psychological element of being promoted or not promoted, or even demoted are taken into consideration.
And often, it really isn't about the numbers, as was the case with Michael Hermosillo. He's already proven that he can hit AAA pitching rather easily. The Angels wanted to see him use the entire field, cut down on swinging at pitches outside the zone and take better routes in the OF at all three spots. He wasn't being challenged in AAA anymore, because he started doing these too quickly. He needed to be in the majors to further develop those specific areas. And with Calhoun sucking and Upton ailing, it was just the right time.

Adell, simply because he's our best prospect and is making a case that he's one of the better prospects in all of baseball.
But you guys know me, I'm pretty much excited about all of them.

I'm hoping to see Hermosillo start to use the whole field more, but even with the pull-happy approach he's an upgrade over Calhoun for the time being.

The plus side is he doesn't need to.
Currently the AL Average 2B is putting up a .682 OPS.   If Fletcher simply repeated his minor league average at the MLB level, he's be among the better offensive 2B in the AL.

I'd take a .700 OPS from Fletcher and hope for .750.

Also, here's video of an Adell blast.  The power as a 19 year old reminds me of Torii Hunter in his prime.  This kid is going to be unbelievable someday.

I'll put it like this, last year, Andrew Benintendi didn't even OPS .800 last year, when he went 20/20.  One of the brightest young stars in the game and formerly one of the top prospects.
David Fletcher in the minors has an OPS of .738.  With the exception of the two hitter friendly home parks he's played in (Orem and Salt Lake), he's never posted an OPS of .800.
David Fletcher will not have an .800 OPS at the major league level.

Well that's a very generalized promotion schedule I laid out. One of the big differences between the Dipoto regime and the Eppler regime (or more accurately, the Servais and Swanson) is the more individualized player assessments.
Under Dipoto, they very much had a set schedule. For some players, it was super conservative, and for some the promotions were unwarranted. They differed from this path very rarely.
Under Eppler, their post Spring assignments are VERY conservative. They'll keep these kids down at lower levels than they probably should be. But, Eppler's regime has also shown a greater willingness to challenge each prospect VERY aggressively as soon as they are ready.
So under Dipoto, this is what Marsh's promotions would've looked like.
    2016: Drafted but injured.
    2017: AZL
    2018: Orem
    2019: Burlington
    2020: Inland Empire
    2021: AA Mobile
    2022: AAA and the Angels.
Marsh would've debuted in the middle of his age 24 season.
This generic plan I laid out starts him at the beginning of his age 23 season. But Marsh is talented enough that he could be here at age 22.
It's definitely possible he lights the world on fire in the Cal League and finishes 2018, his age 20 season in AA. From there, he could finish 2019, his age 21 season in the majors.
So I won't disagree with you. He'll be up when he's ready, Eppler and Swanson are good like that.
But keep in mind, even if Marsh is ready, we have to think about a couple of factors.
    - Will the Angels have a spot for him at that time?
    - Will he be promoted over Adell?
Adell is the better prospect, I can tell you that, but beyond that I can't answer either of those questions for the year 2020.
