Some people need to learn how to read between the lines regarding Rendon as well.
If he had elected to have his surgery did he voluntarily just give his locker up. He's still part of the team. maybe he would like to just go in the locker room and hang with his homies and have a locker to look at his pics of his girlfriend or put his glove or jockstrap on.
Idk man...just don't seem right.

Dude I read bullshit here on the daily. I am adept to knowing what it is when I read it.
Not IMO sir.
And yes I know what you think of my opinion.
All good man!

I'm glad that you're adept at least deciphering one kind of bullshit.

Do we ever get any positive or encouraging snippets or comments regarding this guy?

That's because he lives in Norco.
Isn't that close to Chino and does it still smell in Chino?
Been awhile since I've been back.

To my astonishment there are still Rendon defenders and I salute y'all for continuing to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, even in the face of his track record.
I personally think Rendon is a POS and lacks character. It's just intuition and I can't substantiate it, but I bet I'm right.
So lets say the latter is true. What kind of character signs a 230+ million contract with a AAV of 38 mil, and then just decides he doesn't want to do it anymore?

*lobotomy
Unless you mean he transitioned from a woman and had a particular portion of the female anatomy surgically removed...
Finally we get an accurate diagnosis for Rendon.

I don't really care what you do Strad.

I have no idea how he was running or if he was running on a treadmill. I have no idea how it goes undiagnosed. There I answered your questions. Also, he has/had a broken tibia.
No you didn't answer the questions.

A tibial fracture is a major injury that doesn't go undetected for weeks. It is a long, large bone and any abnormality is usually pretty easily discerned on an x-ray. Somebody is sandbagging, big time. I suspect Rendon, since the organization recently announced that he had resumed baseball activities. He would not have been cleared to do this with a tibial fracture in the early stages of healing.
This is coming from someone in the medical field for close to thirty years!
I'm in the industrial X ray field and can detect a minuet anomaly in things far smaller than a tibia.
And before anyone makes the comment of staying in a Holiday Inn an X ray on a bone is not any different that a X ray on a piece of metal.
In both cases it's a form of radiation penetrating an object and producing an image on a piece of film or a screen.
It's pretty f ING simple.

I knew that you would be one of the first responders Strad. You didn't answer the few questions that I asked in my post.
It's BS Strad, you just can't smell it.

Is anyone surprised that there is a setback regarding his healing?
Regardless of the reason for the setback. Bottom line another setback, I mean I don't care if he broke his toe "running" on the treadmill. I said in another thread that there would be a setback, it was so predictable.
And BTW how do you run on a treadmill with a fractured tibia? And how does that go undiagnosed?
It's BS...IT'S BULLSHIT!

Big sigh and eye roll, but sure why not.
Rooting for Jared. Fletcher has had his chance and absolutely sucks!

Will he be worth the 250 or so he will get and would you want the Angels to give it to him if Ohtani leaves ?
F No!
And that's my expert analysis.
You're all welcome.

If he came up as a OF then I think he would be very good even as a center fielder. He didn't.
Even at this juncture he's stud enough to pull of a capable right field.
Would I put him out there if I was the GM... No!
Not a popular take, but with the state of the franchise I just don't see a need for Ohtani. When he was injured people were suggesting modest contracts of maybe a couple years.
Now I see people think he's going to get 10/450 again and he may.
I'm not signing him to that as a Angel GM, what are you putting behind him at this point?
It's a shame this organization couldn't have a few years of glory with Ohtani and Trout.
No...I'm not saying it was wasted years, but Trout/Ohtani were not maximized years either.

I wonder if stadium attendance is equivalent to game day thread attendence?

Posted in the Gameday Thread, but I'll do it here, too: the Angels have dropped to the 11th slot, one game ahead of Cleveland for the 12th slot. The Angels can't even tank correctly.
Happens the same way every single year for the last 8-10 years..
20 games left?
15-5
I'm not rooting for losses, but the pattern is fucking ridicous!

Where will Ohtani play in 2024?

I voted Giants, but after yesterdays events I wouldn't be surprised if SO already has a locker at the latrine.
If he's having the surgery now, would he not still dress and be on the bench with the team?
