  1. You are correct. El Catorce LEAVING suddenly makes the Angels a good ball club. ...just sayin'
  2. Dear God above, Please allow Archie, or whoever is making the decisions in Anaheim, see the opportunity and kindly but quickly show El Catorce the door so Girardi can be brought here. Amen.
  3. If you voted for any of the above... how does it feel to have blood on your hands? RIP Officer Keith Boyer. Somehow, someway, the liberals in this state will either change or pay.
  4. He certainly sold his abilities like a used car salesman... he should do well in this new career.
  5. @Dochalo very good analysis! May I suggest you forgot one key element in this team reaching 90 wins? Prayer ;-)
  6. Find out if Scioscia is intending on retiring, taking a year off, or immediately managing another team in 2018.
  7. I think he made his point. The Angels have been down right nothing more than mediocre at best in the first month. The good news? Scioscia is gone after this year!!!!
  8. He is going to hurt us down the road. Happens every time.... to the Angels.
  9. And if my Aunt had balls she would be my Uncle. Woulda shoulda coulda... how much longer are you sheep going to follow MS and his BS? Read the article. I mean ACTUALLY read point number six and let it sink in.
  10. The fact that he has too much control can be. I swear, I am pulling for the M's this year for sole reason that Dipoto was a better GM than Sciosica is a manager.
  11. I just read this and thought, its been a while since I have been on AW to complain about Sciosica being manager. I have been to one, single, game this year - Opening Day. Thats all this team gets from me until he is gone. For those of you who haven't clicked on the link above... go straight to point number 6. Its all you really need to read.
  12. This team is a fuster cluck. A serious ass FUSTER CLUCK. This just compounds the frustration that Arte has created by meddling and insisting that players like Pujols, Wilson, Hamilton, et all be signed. The BIG SPLASHES have sunk this team.
  13. Very impressed. Like how clean it is. I may even show up more, who knows?
  14. If you read the article, I can tell you what the difference is between Eppler letting Butcher and Baylor go and Dipoto letting Hatcher go... and Scioscia mentions it when he says, "Butch has a lot to offer. I know he’ll get a role and be a terrific pitching coach." Butcher very well may get another shot at being a pitching coach.... there is no ****ing way in hell that any other team and I mean ANY. OTHER. TEAM. would ever hire Mickey ****ing Hatcher to be their ball boy, let alone, their hitting coach.
  15. Where did you get the idea that he even knows was saber is??? He is a drooling fool when it comes to saber.
  16. I think it would... I would return to both. I will buy season tickets again, and become more active on AW again. Until he is gone, I am.
  17. Here's the situation as I see it. Scioscia refuses to use analytics and scouting reports - we know this from Dipoto. Why wouldn't anyone want to use every advantage to win? Yet Scioscia ignores facts. He goes with his gut. So if it comes down to me wanting the team to win more than the Manager, it tells me, I need to save my stomach and my blood pressure and step away. It is only going to frustrate me more by watching it... becuase he will not make the moves that should be made. The game has passed him by. When he leaves, I will return.
  18. If Scioscia is allowed to manage again next year, Arte is just going to have to pony up to buy more tickets at the end of the year so he can hit the 3M mark. Scioscia is the single reason that I have tanken a step back from caring about the Angels. As long as he is there, I, and a lot of other fans, will continue to take a step back. The Angels front office is a joke.
  19. I have loads of doubt and don't believe he wants to win anymore than some here do. If he did he would be using all the resources at hand to make the team better. Including allowing the GM to do his job. Sorry, but Arte, just like any other owner, is in it for the money. He invested and he had quadrupled his money in a little over a decade. Good for him. We still have the same manager that is managing from his gut and the last I checked, there is still only one WS trophy in the case.
  20. I have come the conclusion that Scioscia is a bonafide liar when it comes down to matters of the team of the field. He is going to tell the press what he wants them to write and that it. Truth or not. And most times it's not.
  21. Precisely why he has to go. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
  22. What does it matter folks!?!?!?! Scioscia is running this show... right into the ground.
