    Technically, there has been enough written about Scioscia wanting Abreau just as much as Arte did that labeling Abreu "Scsiocia's Boy" is not a stretch. BTW LT - I am figuring that 6mos after Scioscia is fired you are going to be stepping right into line with whoever the new manager is.

    Kuddos to Glen. My how quickly people forget. There were plenty who didnt like the move. Glen was one, I was another, he'll, even Chuck didn't like the move. Giving Scioscia that contract gave him the free pass to believe he was irreplaceable. Oh yeah.... Buttercup is a very close second.

    Red Sox had the same problem with Francona and two years later they are back... I just want Scioscia gone so we can star working on the turnaround. It doesn't start till he is fired.

    Really? that maybe true but its more like their last 50 games has made everyone in the LA/OC Metro area forget the Angels last decade.

    I look at it this way... the Doyyers win, there is no reason for them to replace Mattingly, meaning Scioscia is in some other city next year.

    Isn't it amazing that its always the Angels who acquire the big free agent that, once in the Angels uniform, goes out and sucks.

    I am done with this team till Scioscia is gone. He is great only in his own little mind. The poor managing decisions have been the undoing of this team for the last three years. Arte and Dipoto need to wake up and realize where the change needs to be made.

    Its a good trade, Downs being 37 and the Angels being out of it. I would feel a helluva lot better if Butcher wasn't the Pitching Coach. He has done nothing of significance with any pitcher in the system. Why believe he will start with Rasmus?
