I’m just kidding about my last comment.  The Angels are winning tonight so he won’t show up. 

He's 32, in the fourth year of his deal, having barely played a full season's worth of games in three years. He's only played in 4 out of 10 games this season and is injured again.
I think it's safe to say this deal is a bust.

I voted yes.  None of the injuries are his fault, but unless he has some crazy year in the next couple, wins MVP, and leads the Angels to a World Series title or something, it's hard to see how the deal could be considered a good one, given what has happened thus far. 

Worse deal than even Pujols.
Even money that he plays fewer than 100 games this year.
I'll be glad to be proved wrong.

Fletcher has become an absolutely horrible hitter. 

preseason it looked like we had a lot of depth and length in our bench, bullpen, and rotation
so far we are as top heavy as ever

They just have too many of the same kind of arm IMO, which is essentially a bunch of middle reliever types at best. They desperately need some dudes with elite velo/secondaries that they can lean on for these 7th/8th/9th innings(Estevez has the qualifications to be here). Right now it's just pretty much rolling the dice on a bunch of middling options and hoping you chose the right one for that scenario on any given day.

When in reality they should really be 8-1 instead of 5-4. But they'll ignore that.
