A principal got fired because he posted on facebook that he supported the cop.  This is unbelievable.
Now I disagree with many of you here on this issue.  The thought of one of us losing our job (regardless of what your opinion is) is just outrageous.
 
I guy didn't get fired because he blurted out the N-word, or had a invective-laden screed.  He got fired because he posted his support for a cop.  Wow. 
 
This kind of thing is more scary than just about anything.
 
I read one article where they quoted a kid at the school saying that, in effect, "we are all minorities here.  We don't agree with him, therefore he should be fired..." talk about McCarthyism...

I was listening to the radio when his second gaffe happened (I think it was the baserunning). Terry Smith (and to a certain extent, Langston) went off on his errors for, seriously, three or four minutes.
 
I had just turned on the radio, so i was trying to figure out what was going on... Smith just kept hammering the kid.  It occurred to me: Smith never criticizes Angels players, certainly not this length of time.  It was the dude's first couple innings of play.  Smith almost sounded like a bully to me.  If he wants to criticize players, fine.  But there are 25 players on the roster (and a manager).  I know damn well that Smith would never give that kind of treatment to the well paid veterans.
 
Seems kind of petty... pick on the rookie.

This is a complete non-sequitor, but its funny how the brain and memory works... I have reputation for dumping grass clippings on the asshole's lawn.
 
In fact, it began, because a couple flecks of grass cuttings went from under the lawn mower (I was using a bag) into dude's driveway.  And he didn't like it AFTER I had swept.
 
Then, I later egged his house.

So after all these years of inspirational messages, inspiration posts, and talking about doing the right things - Peyt's mom still can't figure it out....Go figure

Early morning walk...good for my soul and stiff neck! Work has been rough the past couple of weeks. Life has been rough. Haven't been taking care of myself like I should. My neck has been hurting so much that I don't feel up to getting out to walk or yoga, but then that just makes it worse. It's amazing how good it feels to get out for a simple walk. Get your blood flowing, your feet hitting the dirt trail, breathing the fresh morning air and hearing the birds chirping. I'm missing hanging with my best friend, have felt misunderstood in social situations lately (even when I've tried to explain myself), feeling left out of other social situations. Exercise, whatever type you choose helps to clear your mind and see that any hardship you go through is just a transition and will pass. Better things will be on the other side...this will be a growth period and I will be grateful! Just need to keep on walking and moving my body, staying present in the NOW! It's all we've got! Peace!

This is the same feeling I had when I saw my first Playboy in elementary school.
