Ironically, a win on June 9, 2017 puts the team at .500.

I will co-sign on Hamilton because of the money and poor production combined; not to mention the impact on the roster since that time.

I totally supported the Howie for Heaney deal and still do, but losing him is worse than I imagined.

Being an Angels fan for over 50 years, I really have to say we're the greatest baseball fans in the world.  We went 46 years before experiencing more than two winning seasons in a row.  We're indestructible.   We can handle anything.  I'm convinced of that.

I think it's time for the Angels to listen.  He's an all-time great for this franchise.  He took a hometown discount to stay when he was on top of his game.  Angel management decided to let him go, which is an understandable business decision, but to issue a player #36 the very next season is ridiculous.   Similarly stupid to re-issue #27 the year after Vlad left (and before Trout).   We have some bad decision making here.

I'm inclined to believe he'll retire early too.  I think Albert is a class guy and doesn't want to be a detriment to his team.  I don't think he's physically capable of completing his contract, quite frankly.

I don't worry about the injuries because that's out of our control.   My frustration is the lack of offensive production in LF and 2B.  I thought it would be a lot better, and really should be.  Maybe these guys will get it together before all is said and done.
A player we have really missed but hasn't gotten much attention is Howie Kendrick.  I fully supported the Heaney trade but we miss Howie.

If you were referring to Hamilton I would agree with you.  But Albert has handled himself with class and given the team 100% as far as I can tell. He could do a lot less to get his pay than he's doing.  

If I were Albert I'd retire after the 600th home run and preserve that .300 lifetime average.  He has 2858 hits and i think his average will dip below .300 before he gets 142 more hits to reach 3,000. There's no way he can get to 700 homers.  He can't be enjoying the role as a full-time DH that plays hurt all the time.  He's independently wealthy.

He did a fine job.  If we can't get three runs, or score only 1 run with the bases loaded with one out, chances of winning are kinda bad.
