That last final four team should have brought home #12.
Very fun player to watch. I hope they take it.

Yes, exactly. If you delve into it deeper it is very clear that Salas will regress in a bad way. The only thing he is doing better is less of the balls hit into play are falling for hits, as you point to with the unsustainably low BABIP. His home run rate is down and he is getting more ground balls, admittedly those are encouraging signs (in what is still a small sample size). But his strikeout rate is the lowest it has been since he has been with the Angels (10.46 per nine innings last year, down to 8.06 this year), his walk rate is up 1.7 to 2.1 per nine innings from last year to this year and his strand rate is entirely unsustainable at 87.2 per cent. Everything in his statistics suggest he will regress in an emphatic way soon.
On the Joe Smith issue, yes he is a huge concern. There isn't much to suggest he will turn it around and his decline is really alarming. His strikeout rate is down to a pretty awful 5.87 per nine innings, his walk rate was up significantly last year and has gone up again in 2016 and he is giving up home runs. His BABIP has been a quite friendly .250 as well, so things could get even worse. I don't see much there to suggest he has what it takes to be an effective MLB pitcher anymore.
Cam Bedrosian looks legit though. It's a small sample size but he's halved his walk rate, striking out more batters and hasn't been riding any BABIP luck. It's time to give him more responsibility.

0.0 career WAR. If he's going to show something he better do it soon.
Slugging the same as Giavotella. If he at least hit for more power it would be easier to overlook his other faults.

Last June was fun. .303/.395/.737 with 13 HR.
It would be great to see that or something close again this year, even for only a month.

If Street had an outing like Smith, I wouldn't care.  I just don't think there is sustainable success there as a closer with the way Smith is capable of performing.  I hope otherwise of course.  We really do need a dominant arm out of the arm big time.

Not sure he's ready to close but I'd rather see Bedrosian here. Smith is way too hittable.

Walking out of RiteAid on Thursday, I noticed a sherriff's patrol car parked directly behind my car. As I approached I realized he was in the process of having the car next to mine towed away. I see an older leader (like 70) starting to cry. He's telling her that there is nothing he can do because they've been directed to tow all cars with expired registrations over 6 months old. She's pleading with him, saying she needs her car to get to the doctor and pick up her medications. He continues to tell her there's nothing he can do (obvious bullshit).
At this point, she starts saying she has no way to get home. Obviously talking to herself since the cop is ignoring her. I tell her not to worrying about that, I would give her a ride home. Finally, he turns and says," If it was under 6 months you would just be getting a warning, ma'am "
I take a look at her tags and they say DEC 2015. I realize immediately that even if they expired on Dec 1st, it would still be under 6 months. I ask him if it was under 6 months, he would really let it go with a warning. After he replied with a "yes", I pointed out to him that it actually is under 6 months. After a minute of doing the calculations, and yes his mouth was moving as he used his fingers, he realizes his mistake. After a couple of minutes of him looking embarrassed he tells the lady that he's going to let her off with a warning. Then he mumbles something about how he's glad he didn't have to tow her car. F'ing nimrod.

Interesting tidbit that Stripling is a stock broker...We need more of these type of factoids from our broadcast team and less going through the motions of telling us what we're seeing.

Yes, there's a big difference. The mad king had proven to by a crazy mf by frequently torturing people and planning to genocide an entire city with wildfire. It had to be done, it should have been done sooner. Did all the Houses that rallied to Robert Baratheon's cause do so because of the Rhaegar / Lyanna/ Robert love triangle? No, it was because the realm had a crazy King that they could no longer support and nobody was doing anything about it. Robert's rebellion presented the best opportunity to remove King Aerys and they took it. Had Selmy and the other Kingsguard been a little less concerned about thier "honor" and their inscription in the White Book an entire war could have been averted. The bath scene with Brienne showed that Jaime's motivation for killing Aerys wasn't just self preservation, but also orders from his father and concern for the city.
I have no issue with Howland Reed's dagger in the back. He did what he had to do to survive (and Arthur Dayne should have watched his six).
I have more of an issue with Ned Stark's pious bullshit. He allowed Jon Snow to make a life commitment to the Watch while continuing to deny him the truth about his lineage. "I'll tell you next time we meet", gee thanks dad. He lied to his wife, allowing her to hate on the kid for his entire life under false assumptions. He was a terrible player of the game as shown in his conversation with Cersei, but he was also a terrible player with a family who put them at risk for no gain. How honorable is that?

Pretty crazy. For my scuba advanced cert we had to do a 100+ ft dive and were asked to do some math on a slate to demonstrate the effect of mild nitrogen narcosis. I was fine but definitely felt some impairment.

This situation reminds me of the plane that decompressed killing the golfer payne stewart and crew. They were unconscious. It just kept flying for hours until running out of fuel. Some business jets now have a safety feature that senses a rapid decompression and puts the plane in a dive down to 15000 feet in a few minutes (not to exceed Vmo).
