The Dodgers losing Betts here would be up there with the Lakers missing out on Chris Paul.

Friedman left the Rays in 2014 when Rengifo was like 16 years old. Rengifo was with the Mariners org and was traded to the Rays in 2017.

He's just another guy that they can move around while they give the starters rest days.

We are getting a big league starter too? Hopefully it’s not a former starter like Stripling. 

What did you all think Rengifo would turn into? And what would he be this year or the foreseeable future outside of a utility infielder?

I don’t think they expect Adell to be up to start the season. Nothing wrong with that. He didn’t have much time in aaa if I’m remembering correctly. 

Joc hit 36 bombs last year. Excellent deal to hold us over until Adell arrives.

Now would actually be the perfect time for the Astros to cheat again. Who would expect them to cheat again so quickly after all this?

Such a surreal day yesterday. Kept hoping it wasn't real in the beginning and then switched to hoping I'd wake up.

These guys still on the Astros are obviously getting some strategies for dealing with this from their PR team. So far they've gone with deny it, play the poor us card and use it to motivate, humor, pretend it doesn't exist. If they'd just come out and own it the world would go much easier on them. I doubt any current Astro will ever admit anything though, they've obviously been coached to never ever under any circumstance admit to cheating.

Sounds like Fiers decided to keep his mouth shut now out of blackmail perhaps? This is a real shit show all around.

I love that the Astros hitters are going to be under such a microscope this year. Everyone is looking to see if their production drops. The instant any one of them has a slump, everyone is going to jump on them. I love the pressure it puts on these asshats. I'd love to see all their numbers plummet.
