Anyone who is warned and beans an Astro will suffer a worse fate (a suspension of a game or so) than those who cheated consistently to win a World Series. 

It's because they would bang a trash can one time if he was going to get a hit. So they just would do a different pitch to avoid the hits.

I hope Verlander has to bat in some interleague games this year.

I was more just banking on Bob tweeting random things that have zero backing and it would still get us riled up.

I would love it if this thread finally got to page 2 and Bob Nightengale posts a tweet that talks are back on with us and the Dodgers.

I honestly don't think the Angels will throw at the Astros on opening day in Houston but we could really get the world to love us if say we plunked Bregman in his first AB. The world would collectively be Angels fans...

Who will get beaned first and when?  I say we accidentally hit someone in game 2.

Who do you want to get beaned first? Bregman game 1, first AB. Altuve is a close 2nd.
 

I truly believe Upton is gonna have an amazing year. With the protection he has around him in the lineup he will see more pitches that he can smack than he's probably ever seen in his life. 

He's not gonna tell us if he's close to another deal before it happens after the near 100 page debacle that is still going down. 

He's closer to Al Bundy or Justin Bieber.

Do trades ever happen after spring training opens and before opening day? I'd imagine it's pretty rare.

Bottom line: Dodgers decided they'd rather have Graterol on their 40 man than Rengifo. Shocker!

I wouldn't boo the guy. He is on a team that has won their division every year for the past 7 or 8 years (or whatever) and been to the world series multiple times and deep into the playoff regularly. He was about to be traded to a team that hasn't won a playoff game in over a decade.  But it was a dumb move on his part tweeting that since the deal could be back on, knowing how this thing is going.

It seems everyone just jumped the gun and this deal wasn't going to go down unless the original deal went down as first proposed.

Isn't it as simple as the Dodgers not being able / wanting to take on another 40 man guy (Rengifo) since then ended up getting Graterol in addition to Betts and Price? They didn't plan on Graterol in the original deal so now they don't want to add another man over the 40 man number. As it stands they are already over and wouldn't Rengifo have pushed them even further over? 

Hopefully chicken strip gets traded to the orioles or something. 

Well our two weeks of getting along with the dodgers sure ended quickly. 

Bob n also said the trade was finalized about 20 minutes before it was officially off. Don’t listen to this asshat.  

They were asked to give up more so they wanted more. I bet they asked for Marsh.
