The 1.5T over the next decade is on top of the previously projected annual deficits.  There was an article talking about how the current fiscal year deficit is expected to come close to 1T while the previous year was something like 600B.  Also we've seen that counting on revenue stemming from tax cuts to make up for overspending doesn't pan out.  R, D, right, left - any way you slice it we're all going to be screwed when there's no other option but to make drastic cuts.  Deficit spending is supposed to be use to stimulate growth during a recession and not as a way of life.  Unfortunately it's been used for almost 4 decades now to buy votes and make citizens more dependent on the government and both sides are guilty of this.

Your mistake is assuming the bottom is reached in a few days.  The definition of a bear market is a drop of 20% from the bull market highs and there's going to be more bull and bear markets in our lifetimes.  As far as the jobless numbers they are good but what they mean to investors is the likelihood that the fed continues to raise rates so that's factored in.  Add in growing wages and fears of inflation and that gets factored in.  Between now and the March fed meeting if news comes out that makes investors believe rates won't get raised then that will get factored in.  Overall the economy looks pretty good.  Unless you're day trading the daily movement doesn't really mean squat.  If you're close to retirement then you should be more conservative unless you're comfortable with the added risk that comes with a more aggressive approach.

Before the 2017 draft Ingram was supposedly the one untouchable player on the Lakers roster.  Hopefully that hasn't changed because he's made some nice strides and considering he's still only 20 he looks like a guy who could make the jump to super star but obviously he's got a ways to go.  You don't move a guy who is doing what he's doing in his second season to the 6th man role.  If they want Lebron/PG acquire them and go from there because positioning in that scenario is a good problem to have because it means they land who they want.

According https://247sports.com/nba/cleveland-cavaliers/Bolt/Report-Cavs-cant-trade-Nets-first-round-pick-until-after-draft-114875993 with the trade the Cavs just made with the Lakers they can no longer trade the Nets pick until after the draft.

Stradling - The Cavs traded Thomas, Wade and Rose and it's all in an effort to turn the team around since they've been struggling and to appease Lebron so he doesn't bolt.  Problem is they're without Love for 6-8 more weeks and even once he's back they'd need one of the new guys to step up because they need that third piece like Kyrie was for them to have a chance to come out of the East and put up a fight against whoever comes out of the West.

AO the Lakers are getting the Cavs 1st rounder not the pick the Cavs have from the Nets.

If they extended Thomas and had him and Lonzo in the back court they would have one of the worst defensive back courts in recent memory.  Only if they're putting up ridiculous points like the Suns did with Nash could they sort of negate that but those Phoenix teams always got beat by more well rounded teams in the playoffs.  I'm fine with this trade because as mentioned it's a move that gives them a lot of flexibility and money this off season.
As far as PG and Lebron go I'm not counting on both happening and I'll say it now - I hope they don't get Lebron.  He's still one of the best players don't get me wrong but when things don't go his or his teams way it seems to snow ball, he's not known for being a good mentor to work with younger players (some say he actually holds them back) and he wants to play for a contender.  He can make any team a playoff team but if he joins the Lakers and they aren't a top team it likely won't play out well.  I'd rather they go after PG who frankly seems like a better team player but with how OKC is doing who knows if he leaves.  Even the Lakers FO is trying to temper expectations by saying they're not going to make signings this off season just because they have the money and that they'll look to add the right pieces each of the next 2 off seasons.

If he was an egotistical narcissist for seventy years of his life, he's not going to stop being one. That's usually how these types operate. And becoming president has only fueled that.

I don't disagree.  Between the over saturation of the NFL and the ridiculousness of some of the rules I've lost quite a bit of interest in the league.
Still trying to figure out why Belichik decided to bench Butler.  He didn't have the best season but he was better than Rowe who got torched by Jeffrey on multiple plays.  Article on CBS has a Philly coach saying they couldn't believe Butler got benched as it was announced right as the game started.  Philly then planned to go after Rowe because the guy used to play for them and they knew Jeffrey was a mismatch for him.  Seems like NE got too cute at the wrong time.

If that's the reason then I don't blame them and he's an idiot for doing that before the Super Bowl.  Of course trying to get the real story out of the NE front office is a pretty futile effort.  So far they've said it wasn't for disciplinary reasons, that it gave them the best chance to win, that he was sick earlier in the week and then Belichik said he could go into a lot more detail which infers it's something else but gives up nothing.  They don't owe anyone an explanation and I can't imagine them deciding to bench him for a stupid reason.  Regardless, thankfully the lost so lets celebrate that.

I'm not sure how the Clement TD was actually a TD and why the Ertz one was even questioned.  On the Clement TD the ball moved after his second step which which generally means he hasn't established possession and then as he pulls it back in his next step was out of bounds in the back of the end zone.  Ertz on the other hand took 3-4 steps and the ball clearly broke the plane.  That said it was a damn good game, they set not only the playoff record but NFL record for combined yards in a game and most importantly NE lost.

The bigger dilemma is that if Bortles is injured as of the beginning of the league year he's guaranteed that money.  Even if the Jags want to part ways with him if he can't pass a physical in about 6 weeks they're taking the cap hit no matter what.
Tank that's the cost of Jacksonville picking up his 5th year option last year.  As ridiculous as it seems it gave them a stop gap for one more year and didn't lock them into anything long term.  In 2017 there were 15 QB's who made more than that annually.

Barring some drastic changes happening in state over the next 30+ years the only thing that would keep us here in retirement would be family.  I could see pushing to leave even before then if it comes down to the quality of life we can give our family.  Nice weather only goes so far when you have a HCOL, state leaders who oppose the feds when it's convenient for them, increasing crime rates, decreasing quality in public schools and so on.
