Weaver had 6 balls outside the zone called a strike and 2 inside the zone called a ball
Ramos had one outside the zone called a strike.
Salas had 1 outside the zone called a strike

Felix had 7 balls outside the zone called a strike and 1 inside the zone called a ball.
Rodney had 4.  He actually threw 2 pitches in the zone of the 13 he threw.  1 called strike was an actual strike and 4 others were outside the zone.
Furbush threw 0 strikes.  One was called a strike though
Farquahar threw 8 pitches.  Two were strikes.  One outside the zone was called a strike.
Carson Smith threw four pitches.  All called appropriately.

    So, in summary

Sea 13 outside the zone called strikes.  One in the zone called a ball
LAA  8 outside the zone called a strike.  2 inside the zone called a ball.

There were about 28 pitches within a quarter of a foot of the zone for seattle that needed to be called (not a swing).  He missed half of them.
There were about 18 pitches within a quarter of a foot of the zone for the halos that needed to be called (not a swing).  He missed over half of them.

    He was +12 for seattle
He was +6 for the halos

46 total called pitches within 1/4 of a foot of  the zone and 24 were not called appropriately.

The umpire wasn't just bad, he was blatantly god awful and changed the entire complexion of the game.  Something an umpire should never do.
It was horribly inconsistent as well.  Many balls in almost the exact same spots called a ball one time and a strike another.

    horrible horrible performance.

That's not butthurt, those are the real numbers of what this guy did.

24 games with 14 pts or more this year. He shoots because he's the best outside shooter on the team - by far.
To say the rest of the season was garbage makes me think you still harbor bad feelings tjowards him back to when he was given a scholarship "only because hhis dad is the coach"

The ball wasn't going in but it was over the rim when the defender touched it. Goaltending.
Looney had the rebound and was 2 feet away to tie.
I thought Welsh played well while Parker laid another egg.
    Alford was awesome.
Glad Powell's career doesn't end with the bad taste of dribbling the ball off his foot.

UAB next. Bruins already beat then once this year.

Bruins are playing really well. Parker brought it today. Cut down on the turnovers and guard Brown better in the 2nd half. 3 shooting is keeping UAB in the game.

The pac10/12 has only had one losing record year (2012) out of the last 10 years in the NCAA tournament. That's pretty good.

They have to "believe in climate change" since its a big deal to a large segment of their voters and fundraisers. Doesn't mean they actually give a shit.
The "evil" party has to question climate change because a large segment of their voters and fundraisers don't give a shit about it.
Every stance, every vote, every campaign issue is a calculated attempt to maximize support - financial and otherwise to gain power and satisfy greed.
To think otherwise is beyond naive.

This will end once the EBT cards quit working. The amount of spending by our government is unsustainable. Bread and circuses for the masses only last so long.

He's just another warmongering neo-con but he might as well add "Likud Party" member to his titles.

An excellent speech on the genesis of the neo-con (bowel) movement is this one by Ron Paul almost 12 years ago.

It's definitely worth the time to listen.

Calling these psychopathic bastards "demonic" isn't wrong. They have no problem starting wars that result in the deaths of millions. I bet they sleep just fine.

Forget Rep/Dem party arguments. You won't find anything but skilled salespeople for debt and death in either one. I'm not buying.

When Madeleine Albright was asked if a half a million dead Iraqi children was "worth it", she said that it was. Only a psychopath completely devoid of empathy would treat 10 stadiums full of dead babies as if they were inanimate objects.

Bush the comedian? How many hundreds of thousands suffered and died so this piece of shit murderer could stand up there and tell jokes?

The next psychopathic puppet that gets "voted" in by stupid people who think they actually have a choice?

And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

Yeah, I'm pretty uneasy about it too, especially indoctrinating small children with such nationalistic fervor who are barely old enough to keep from pissing their pants.

Most folks probably believe that the pledge of allegiance was written by Jefferson or Washington or somebody.
Nope. It was written in 1892 by a socialist Francis Bellamy.

    A right can't be given.
The 1st Amendment (or the flag for that matter) doesn't grant anything. It simply enumerates what was already there.

A lot of people with ample resources choose to live simply. I won't ever have a facebook and only use a prepaid cell phone that stays in the glove compartment in case of emergency. Don't need that crap.
