Sherman Johnson has the glove to play third if need be. Before this year, he played 93 games at the hot corner and provided solid defense.

Cowart with yet another solid game:
7 AB 3 Hits 1 Double 1 Homer 2 RBIs
His home run was a go-ahead in the top of the 15th inning. He has now homered in three straight games.
Bringing his average all the way up to .272
Cowart extended his hit streak to 6 games where he is hitting .444 and slugging an incredible .888 percent.

I doubt it. I think the primary reason Cowgill made the team out of spring training over Shuck is because he's really the only guy that can play CF besides Trout. Stewart and Ibanez are probably the ones playing to save themselves in the next couple weeks before Hamilton and Calhoun return.
