Who stays and who goes next year?
 
The MODS are still filtering through all these final threads before they decide which one of us stays or goes. 

The Angels and KC both went 15-11 in September. They were no hotter than we were. 

I think there is a word that defines that. 

Because we're gonna stay put, do the same thing over and over again and expect better results.

Many point to the offense sucking as the reason we are about to get swept.
 
The Angels' offense has pretty much sucked in every postseason since 02. 
 
The three constants in all of the playoff appearances are:
 
1) Crappy offense showing
2) Boneheaded mistakes
3) Lack of energy and attitude
 
Rosters change significantly every year but the same problems exist.
 
You got to start looking at the fixtures on this team and asking what effect they have on the repeated poor showings.

People who think this was a good season probably drive Corollas. And not by choice.

Can't wait to hear the postgame comments talking about what a great season we had, we just didn't catch any breaks.  **** this pussy ass team and **** this pussy manager.  

Plus Dipoto (had everybody stayed healthy) would have put together one of the best playoff rotations. Weaver and Shoe both looked dominant.

But Scioscia is the one who decides who plays and who doesn't. If Hamilton fails, so does Scioscia. If Wilson fails, so does Scioscia. And I don't know how any sensible person could've thought that playing either player was a good idea. And he failed to make ANY adjustments whatsoever.
All those bunts (3-1 count on Calhoun, bunting twice with Hamilton due up, etc) are on Scioscia too.
It didn't help matters that the offense decided not to hit... But Scioscia was a problem, and a big one.

Let's go bats need these runs now not later. Give Hec something to work with

Iannetta and Calhoun among those who need to stay. Santiago has shown some potential and should be our 5th starter next year. The bullpen is good.

Obviously keep Calhoun. He's at worst our second best hitter

This is not the first time the Angels have looked cold on the playoffs. Gotta blame the guy who's responsibility it is to have this team running on as many cylinders as possible. It was like we were content losing that last series against the M's. It may not be all his fault, but it's enough his fault to shake this team up and go a different direction. Too much talent to let it go to waste.

There was nothing special about those two catches.
