You think Jonathan Schoop is a good choice for 2nd if he's non tendered? https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-hot-stove-brewers-reportedly-likely-to-non-tender-jonathan-schoop/
My problem with this type of post is that each player would have very different stats/bWAR if they were on a different team. You can't guarantee that J.D Martinez would have been the same with a different team or that Darvish would have been hurt if he pitched for a different team.
I completely disagree with you Jeff. A manager has the ability to completely motivate or demotivate a team. He can be the difference between a 20 game win streak or 20 game losing streak. If you have a manager that doesn't relate to the players or players who are just tired of the same old manager. That will be a huge difference. I would say 10+. I know you have more experience...but I'm right. Whenever I change managers in MLB The Show, it easily affects my team.
Anyone notice the similarities with Taylor Ward and Jeff Mathis, skills aside! Swings look identical, body type, face. The big difference is Taylor knows how to hit! Anyone able to do side by side images of swings?
On the bright side, all this losing with definitely give Eppler a reason to let Sosh walk. There is just no way you resign a manager with 500 record over an 18 year span and 1 championship.
Lots will be changing for 2019. Everyone just stop complaining about this years team and have some patience. It can't get any worse...can it?
