I had a Ken Griffey Jr. Rated Rookie card that an older kid at my bus stop stole from me. I was nine years old and being a fat little nerd, I had no recourse. I am so happy I see the card for $5.00 on eBay now. Screw that guy (the thief, not Junior). -
NJ- I'm thrilled the Bucs signed him. He doesn't have the leg Connor has, but his accuracy will work just fine. I guess Koenen will handle long distance kicks maybe. mt- Clearly Connor Barth didn't consult Aaron Boone before playing in that game.

Dallas had a busy day. Oilers trade captain Shawn Horcoff to Dallas for Philip Larsen and a 2016 7th round pick. So now the Oilers have two centers on their roster signed for next season. I hope McTavish knows what he's doing. Horcoff was sadly under appreciated by Oilers fans because of his contract. I hope he fares well with the Stars.

I love that Mike Gillis tried to ask the Oil for the no.7 pick, a second rounder, and a high rated prospect for Schneider then decided he'd rather be ripped off than trade within the division. What a mess. And the Flyers just can't stand to be under the cap. Cap space burns a hole in Paul Holmgren's pocket.

As a Sixers fan tonight was the happiest I've been since about five minutes after the Bynum trade when it was apparent it was going to be a disaster. Love the trade. Bummed to see Jrue go, but this thing needs to be a true rebuild. Challenging for the 8 seed every year isn't a sound long-term plan.

Kings trade Jonathan Bernier to the Toronto Maple Leafs and receive Ben Scrivens, Matt Frattin and a 2nd round pick. Excellent trade for the Kings. I don't know why the Leafs seem to have no confidence in Reimer long term.
