    When you click on 'standings' and only see 4 of the 5 teams in the AL East, there's a problem. The full standings shouldn't take up four pages.

    I've read that also in other articles.. Agriculture is by far the biggest water user, but there's also the oil (fracking) industry. There's also companies like Nestle that bottle up our tap water and resell it to the public.

    Yeah, it's not like they're predicting the M's and A's to be that much better than last year, they're just betting on the Angels being that much worse. I'd rather them be underdogs anyway.

    My main concern is the rotation and the overall health of the entire staff. The offense is the least of my concerns. They got along fine without Josh last year and the loss of Howie shouldn't hurt too much. A full season of Cron will help a lot.

    Homosexuality is not 'illegal' in Russia. They only passed a law making it illegal to 'target' minors with "gay propaganda ". Would you want 'strangers' handing out gay leaflets to your children and teaching your kids about homosexuality, or shouldn't it be your choice to teach your own kids about homosexuality?

    It's a close race between the 70's and 80's, but I have to give it to the 80's. The 80's truly had everything.

    Definitely will watch. I love seeing somewhat typecast actors playing in other roles. I believe he did several western themed shows before Star Trek.

    I loved that show and the music (which was downright spooky to listen to as a child) they'd usually play in the background during each episode.

    Phil Hartman is hilarious in this skit. One of my favorite SNL skits of all-time. Volume sucks though, but it's the only video I can find of this skit.

    How is the Farmer Boys restaurant? I passed by a 'coming soon' banner the other day in the San Fernando Valley. I've never heard of them before and a quick Google search shows them to be primarily located in the OC area and their specialty appears to be 'naturally' produced burgers that have won some awards. This would be the first location in the Valley. Any good?

    Same here. I agree with the clock but only when the pitcher is on the mound. I can't stand it when a pitcher is standing on the mound staring down the batter for like another 10 seconds (with hand and ball already in glove) before he throws the pitch.

    Problem is the market is heavily invested in US shale and they can't afford to sustain oil prices below their break-even price. I believe the average break-even price for shale is said to be roughly $70 per barrel. If they go belly up, we can see another 2008.

    There's know way I'd pay the kind of money and years it's going to require to Max or any other 30 year old pitcher, no matter how well he pitched the last few seasons.
