    You have to invest the time into learning the sport and the players on a team. I was where you are awhile back. Really glad I started going to games (an option you don't have until the Nhl gets sensible and puts a team in Seattle).

    Just the look of Trout and the dugout as he enters it makes me think he's the one to soon lead this team.

    I didn't think changing the Duck's coach would make Getzlaf play so much better, but it did. Of course, it hasn't done much for Ryan so far. More of a team sport though.

    Like the others I'm no doctor. From my experience, a groin hernia can be a process. The bulge may be the full blown hernia, but I think tears happen over time (sometimes) that get you there. And I wouldn't stretch it; just rest it. Have a doctor check it at your annual. My experience is, they can tell if there is weakness that will soon lead to a hernia.

    They showed Detroit who the better team is. High stakes game for Detroit Monday night; we'll be ok either way. < I mean that confidence wise as much as W/L wise. Well, that 's how it would be with unbiased ref'ing. This is going to hopefully be more interesting than frustrating.

    Pretty good appraisal. Scioscia doesn't seem to have the energy he had. He comes across as if this has all grown old to him. He's become kind of stale.

    People who think they're being polite when they screw up the flow at a 4-way stop by sitting there and waiting for the opposite driver to turn in front of them.

    I think this would be a good team to have Vatanen in against. He seems to have good timing on his shots from the line. This could be a big asset against Howard.

    Guys handle stress differently. Thinking that they don't care because they don't act mad and break things is a mistake. The kind of mistake that costs you a player like Edmonds.

    I think this team has an excessive amount of talent and, even with taking some hits, is going to do well. But... I think it's a mistake to think all these guys who are injured or struggling are going to come back and have career average years. I expect a season where the Angels record comes up short of what an average year of this level of talent would produce.

    Hobbies. There's a good life to had in any area at any income level. A person just has to look and try stuff.
