I'll be really interested to see Vatanen next year. The guy scored twice in about 5 games with shots from the line (?). Could be luck, but I know Fowler scoring nothing from out there with 100-200 shots wasn't unlucky. Some people just have an eye for movement. Maybe we get lucky and get a replacement for Visnovski. And, nothing would be finer if Etem was our Trout.

Detroit got what they wanted - a one game playoff. They can thank the ref's for giving them game 2 with that late bogus penalty and not calling any Wings penalties in game 6. Detroit won tonight (and should have), but it should have been over in 5 with a Ducks victory. Good riddance Detroit. Enjoy your time in the East, where you'll have to earn your victories a little more while playing other league loving homer teams.

I would (and in the past have) questioned posters judgement of how this organization is run. I never believed Reagins called the bigger personal shots and I don't think Dipoto makes the call on the philosophy of how the team is constructed. I think Arte has a lot bigger influence then some people believe.

Never been to Boston. Went to DC last summer. Going back in about a month. Want to spend Friday night sitting with my feet in the pond listening to some music at the park. I'll probably head up to Philly for the weekend. Not happy to hear people say it's a dive. Any suggestions about places not to miss there?
