  1. As an enlisted member of the Air Force, I am not allowed to talk smack about the officers appointed over me (all officers are appointed over me unfortunately). BUT, at the time she was just a cadet.... HAHAHAH SHE'S A FREAKIN' IDIOT!!!
  2. Free the Jimmer!!!!!!!!! I'm also probably the only Kings fan on this site.
  3. Although they'll never fight each other since their friends, am I the only one who thinks that a Lyoto Machida vs. Anderson Silva at 205 lbs would be an intriguing matchup? Forget the fact that Machida/Henderson was very boring, I think that Silva would bring about the best in Machida and the clash of their fighting styles would lead to an epic bout.
  4. Never going to contend anymore is what you mean. Yes, he had name recognition. But he was an absolute beast for a long time. No, he never won a belt, but he still has one of the best take down defenses in all of MMA. Sad to see him go.
  5. My 5 year old Lenovo completely shit the bed on me and I'm looking at purchasing a new laptop. I don't want to pay gobs of money for a damn Apple, so that's out of the question. What are the best lower budget options?
  6. After spending the past 5 years with Apple and their addictive iPhone, I think I'm going to switch to the galaxy when I come back to the states.
  7. I feel like this is a bad idea. But then again, it's already being used by the Air Force, so it must be ok right?
  8. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-singers-of-all-time-19691231 Personally, I think their list is way off... I mean, Steven Tyler is #99 and Steve Perry is #76? They should be way higher.
  9. I was in 8th grade and was grounded for lying about having homework. My dad, being the awesome guy he was, told me to take a break from washing dishes to watch the last 3 outs since I hadn't seen any of the playoff games at all. I had taken 2 steps towards the living room before my mother yelled at me to get back in the kitchen. So that's where I was... doing dishes, grounded,
  10. I know a lot of people view the sequester as a bad thing, but let's face it... The only bad thing about sequestration, is that it's not cutting enough money. More cuts need to be made, taxes need to be raised across the board, and maybe we can slowly chip away at this deficit instead of slipping deeper and deeper. Every citizen needs to bite the bullet for the good of the country. If you don't want to help America, then get the hell out of my country.
  11. It was an ALL STAR GAME. And back then All-Star Games didn't even matter, they didn't count for anything.
  12. Done that before, though I do like the bars out gate 1 much better down by the seawall. Less Marines. Not that I have anything against Marines, but you put a group of drunk Marines in the same bar with any other service, they're going to pick a fight. They do it every time. Now, we have to be in our homes by 12 and we're not allowed to drink off base at all right now.
  13. I'm not sure what giving 12 BILLION dollars towards community colleges is going to do? How about lowering the cost of education and normal colleges? Why does it cost so much money to be put through so much pain and suffering? That's another reason there is so much debt in this country. People spend 20 years of their lives trying to pay off a damn student loan for a job that starting out, made them 40,000 a year tops.
  14. The Niners are the clear winners of this trade. Clears out 7.5 million in cap space and gives us the first pick of the second round? Golden.
  15. James Roberts with a hbp RBI. Kids a beast. I may or may not have a bias opinion haha
  16. I think he's not going to pass up Callaspo or Hall for that matter. I think he's a career minor league guy for us unless Kowart totally goes down in flames. (knocks on wood)
  17. Wow. I don't even know what to say about this list... Other than the top 20, it's pretty off.... AJ Pierstinky is in the top 100? Madson Bumgarner at 71?
  18. Hey all. As most of you know (maybe not the younger folks), Social Security was started in 1935 by Franklin D. Roosevelt to help elderly citizens during the Great Depression. It wasn't originally planned to have lasted this long, yet still it stands. Just another tax the government is pulling out of your paycheck. I've heard arguments of all kinds about Social Security and the effect it's having on our national debt, but what's your thoughts? Do you think it should be discontinued and people should plan better for their future by having more in their savings? Do you think it's just fine the way it is? Or do you feel like it needs to be adjusted with the increasing inflation rates and/or people working later in life? Discuss.
  19. Good country songs really hit the spot.

  20. I just wish the sad saga of Wells would just end. I don't even care about the money anymore. Pay him to leave early. Open up a roster spot for someone more worthy.
