  1. So it's ok to use drones against foreign terrorists, but not domestic terrorists? I agree that the government shouldn't be allowed to use drones on American Citizens whenever they want or whoever they want, but at some point you have to look at the practical side. Do we risk more lives trying to take someone alive, just to protect their rights? Or should we just call in a quick drone strike to take him out if he's alone and has OBVIOUSLY killed multiple people.
  2. Go to an airshow where they demo fly the c-17 and you'll be amazed. The degree of bank that huge ass plane can do is redonkulous.
  3. How does Australia even keep qualifying? They're terrible.
  4. Idk how you even get that call wrong... he was safe by a step and a half! The umpires so far are terri-bad.
  5. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/ravens-joe-flacco-agree-terms-contract-extension-001509370--nfl.html AT LEAST worth over $100 million with AT LEAST $60 million guaranteed. Is he worth it? I don't think so. I think the Ravens just screwed themselves by committing so much money to one person.
  6. Doesn't even look like it covers the whole phone.
  7. You're right, I get money for food, and money for shelter. How much money per month do I get for food? $352 bucks. While that is plenty of food for just my wife and I, keep in mind that food stamp recipients get more money for food than I do. In fact, I could double my money for food, since I qualify for food stamps (by only making 2100 a month). Maybe it's the fact that I don't want to live in Greece. Look at all the problems they're having. I'd like to avoid those at all costs, and if it means even more money out of my pocket, then so be it. I will still exercise my right to vote and try and get rid of these greedy fat bastards in our government. I will also run for office when I'm done with the military (hence working on my political science degree).
  8. School and movies when I'm TDY or deployed
  9. It's just a motivational saying. Jeez.
  10. Look up how many military bases are here and you might get a hint as to why I'm in Japan. I help my country out by working for a smaller paycheck than 75% of Americans. And I'm still willing to pay more in taxes. Everyone has to do their part, otherwise we're reduced to nothing.
  11. Well, besides the Ravens that's a true statement
  12. Yes, it's your tax dollars at work. But your tax dollars aren't paying for a flyover. It's paying for pilot proficiency training. They always frag those as part of normal training sorties. (I schedule sorties for a living, trust me)
  13. I'm going for a Trout-like performance, if that's possible.
  14. The end result of their enforcement isn't always the same... Don't you think that's because people aren't all buying into the whole "obey the law" thing? But seriously, laws are in place to create a safer society, but it will ALWAYS be up to the people to CHOOSE to obey the law, or CHOOSE to disobey the law. We don't live in a society like "Minority Report" where we know people are going to commit crimes before they happen. The best we can do is set ethical and moral guidelines for citizens to follow for the good of everyone. Some people just choose to go against that.
  15. Ah, good ol' OKC. Tapwerks is the shit, they have every beer you can imagine there. Also, Alaskan Amber and Alaskan White are freakin' delicious. And if you haven't tried Becks Sapphire, do so. Good shit.
  16. Anyone going to Oakland on September 16? I'm going to be home on leave for the Reno Air Races and I figure I should catch an Angels game while I'm around... Now, I've been to MANY A's games wearing Angels gear, but my dad always sits us in the middle of an assload of A's fans. Would be nice to sit with other Angels fans.
  17. They just released Michael Turner, Dunta Robinson, and John Abraham. MAJOR overhaul of big name players not named Ryan, White, or Jones. Will the Falcons make the playoffs next season? And if they do, will they seriously compete? I think so, with the exception of Robinson, the Falcon survived the 2012 season with minimal input from Turner and an oft injured John Abraham. I don't see why the Falcons can't either replace these players via free agency, the draft, or within the organization. The real challenge will be replacing Tony Gonzalez. Oh well, the Niners will win the Super Bowl next year anyways.
  18. Kowart has looked good so far this spring. Maybe we won't have to wait as long as we thought for him?
  19. Didn't realize the Chiefs were going to franchise Bowe. Thought they were going to let him walk. Bowe would be the best Wide Receiver that Smith has had. (Vernon Davis doesn't count)
  20. I knew it was a bad trade before I made it, but I feel that I have the depth on my team that it doesn't really matter what 2 stars I give up for trout, as long as he's on my team. It's like my fantasy football team. I always have to have Frank Gore on my team (even if he rides the bench), because my team name (lately at least) has been "Blood and Gore". It's a matter of principle.
  21. Not only have they set the record, they still don't have a regulation loss... Anyone want to take a guess at when the first one will be??? I'm thinking if the Red Wings don't snap it, the Wild will. (March 5)
