Analysis be damned, I LOVE Fletcher batting first. He's a pain in the ass to get out, and great at getting on base. By the end of that at bat, the pitcher likely has thrown more pitches than they want to, has a man on, and now has to face Trout (and Rendon and Ohtani). It seems like it must be just mentally exhausting.

Fletcher is the perfect leadoff hitter with his remarkable ability to get on base. He isn't a power hitter but does have speed on the bases.

I used to try to tell people they were in for a shock if they believed Maddon was different than MS.  If anything he's even more extreme than Scioscia ever was.   Seeing his quotes on Sportscenter and watching his interviews made fans gloss over his tendencies in the dugout.
If people hated MS, get ready for more of what you hated.  If you liked him, this is as close as you'll get and you get the added benefit of not hearing the same post-game commentary every night.

AL batting champ locked up

BB hoop is foreground is my 2yr old Grandson's. Just started 2 months ago with him shooting "hoops", he'll probably be able to dunk it by end of year.
Once I'm fully healed, on a full sized hoop, probably not, never been a major BB player, can shoot from the line pretty decently.
More into Softball. Want to resurrect my Chase (Golf) game. If anyone is out in IE wants to go play some fun casual Golf let me know!
