This organization is such a mess right now. It has to be one of the worst in all of sports right now. It starts at the top and in the front office. I think someone posted that free agents try and stay away from the Angels unless there are no other offers anywhere else. I think there’s enough talent on this team to at least make a run at the playoffs, but it sounds like everything behind the scenes is a complete mess and way behind other teams. Hurts knowing we completely wasted Trout and Ohtani and it’ll be a while before this organization is competent again. It’s hard to have any hope until Arte is gone. 

He just happened to go from 150 games a season to 50? Age? Give me a fucking break. Someone explain to me why everyone hated Vernon Wells but defends Anthony Rendon!!! Is it the obvious Orange County answer?

The irony of all the injuries since 2021 is that excluding 2015, he averaged including post-season 153 games played in the other 5 seasons from 2014-2019.

In his last season with Washington Rendon played 150 games with 34 home runs and 126 RBI. He hasn’t played more than 60 with us! And he doesn’t even have a 10 home run season. Dude completely gave up after getting paid not to mention him acting like an ass to media members and trying to hit a fan. Why in the actual fuck do people defend the guy to death? 

Rendon is probably celebrating it. Now he gets more family time

I’m glad he’s playing ok. But it’s not what the team paid for and I care about the people as much as I care about their laundry they wear. He’s a clown of a person. I don’t like rooting for him.  I also think he was the last straw for Arte spending in free agency. I’d rather watch Rengifo over there every game. I’m just frustrated that Angel fans want to root for this guy so badly.

Nah. This ain’t it. I know we are stuck with him so I wanted him to hit lead off. That’s working. But it’s still really sad we are all happy with this performance from a guy who gets paid a ton and acts like a jerk. Are we really down that bad?
