Being down 30-0 would be better than how this game has started. The most worthless at bats I’ve ever seen with guys on base. No Neto and O’Hoppe stinks. Urshela too

They changed it this off season and last and the one before that.
Changed what? Has he invested more in the minors? I don’t actually know what you mean here

If he “cared about dollars” he wouldn’t have acquired Upton, Wells and Rendon because those guys, if they didn’t help the team win, were never going to give him a return on his investment.
I believe in his eyes, he thinks signing those guys makes fans interested and puts butts in the seats. I mean he’s been doing this almost 20 years right? It’s very clear he is doing something incorrectly and he refuses to change it

He cares about both. Again it’s lazy to say he doesn’t care about the product on the field. He obviously does he just sucks at it.
Does he thought? Last year when there were talks of trading guys he said “who are people going to watch then” indicating he cares more about fans in the seats more than building a good team. That’s terrible

Sure but the GMs still spend money and I highly doubt Arte told Minasian to get Loup or Tepera or Syndergaard. He didn’t tell Eppler to sign Allen or trade for Bundy. He didn’t tell Dipoto to sign the four pitchers that failed that year. Nor did Arte tell them who to draft. So yes Arte has failed as an owner, miserably the last decade. But blaming him For everything is lazy.
He refuses to invest in the minors. That’s the biggest flaw. He’d rather be responsible for the worst signings EVER. He’s a bad owner who cares about dollars and not the product on the field

Again if the roster and leadership is different than a few years ago then it’s completely irrelevant. Logically you understand that but your fanatical side won’t let you rationalize it.
One thing is the same though. And unless that changes this team will sadly probably never do anything. This is our best chance with 2 of the best players in the history of the sport and it’s still pretty iffy

That legit might be it for Thaiss. Feel bad for the dude

Gonna be crazy when Neto becomes a star and every Angel fan is like “oh maybe that’s why we didn’t sign Correa/Dansby/Turner etc
-
Love this. I really like everything Perry has done this year
-
Ugly game but this is a good team. Just need to fine tune some things. I predict a really nice win streak in the summer

Wood and Hassell are huge prospects. Add Abrams to that. Wood could be massive

This franchise is in shambles. Arte only cares about big names but he’s not investing in the minors or scouting or just having a good foundation. He’s a terrible owner. There’s a reason the Cardinals and Astros can lost star players and still be in the playoffs every year. This is awful to watch and care about.

Maybe Duffy shouldn’t hit 4th?

Nice to see them get a couple. Wish they’d call up some different relievers and let the guys go who aren’t getting the job done. It would also be nice to see some new faces to the lineup or a different lineup. They still aren’t scoring a whole lot
-
Please never sign another player who goes off in a contract year. Whoever signs Judge is going to seriously regret it

The mariners haven’t been in the playoffs in like 2 decades.
That’s fair. Have they had a team that has half this talent in the last 20 years? A team with this much star power shouldn’t be below .500

They aren’t the worst in their division.

This is a good team. Every single thing on the margins isn’t going our way. Everything. (Including Arte :)). Frustrating to watch. Ps we are winning this game
