Ohtani would bring a massive haul back even in a rental. He is an ace and a middle of the order bat all in one. I wouldn’t compare him to previous deadline deals.

It’s pretty simple, you trade Ward for a 1B and keep Moniak as the 4th OF.

So happy for Adell that ball was absolutely crushed. Ward needs to learn 1B asap.
