I'm gonna take my BP and report back.

The only thing that makes this season bearable are the podcasts. It's nice to know that I am not alone in my feelings. Misery, indeed, does love company.

I am not a baseball fan. I am an ANGEL fan. I was at all the home games in the World Series in 2002. If the Angels are not in the playoffs, I never watch a complete game. I see occasional highlights. I am an active computer gamer and have lots of other hobbies. I am frustrated with the team now. Watching the Angels is my #1 hobby. I feel that I get more upset with loses than the team members do.
After all, when they are a free agent, they will just jump to the highest bidder or close to the highest bidder. I refuse to go where the grass is greener. I'm used to just looking at the weeds and Arte dumping a bunch of fertilizer on them to see if he can grow something, which, as we all know, doesn't work.

What the hell do I know. I decided not to watch today's game because Sandoval was pitching and Pillar was in  the lineup over Ward.

Looks like Schanuel is not in over his head anymore.

Here's an idea. Make Jose Suarez the closer, since we may never have the lead after 8 innings ever again.

I get that you want to increase the run game and you want to speed up the game but a third throw being a balk is very dumb. Just give the dude a base and let that be the penalty. 

I cannot emphasize enough how awesome it is to see Jo Adell hitting like this.
With his power/speed combo, if it is actually coming together for him, we are talking about a player who might legitimately be a superstar.
This isn't a Neto/Schanuel situation where the ceiling is "good player". Adell could seriously be a meat of the order best player on the team type of guy.
Would be incredible for the org.

Washington lost this game, not the umpires. There is zero reason to use Suarez in a 2 run game with a day off tomorrow.
