    Considering Trumbo's age and lack of progression (and you can argue that he's been regressing,) this is at the very least a good value deal, especially when you consider our needs. I really wish we didn't trade Bourjos though, would've been nice to play Calhoun at first so we can keep Pujols at DH.

    Don't know a lot about Santiago, and don't know the prospect we're giving up, but this trade looks pretty good so far. It's the right idea for sure. Santiago's walks are high, but he's still young and it's his relief appearances that bring down his overall k/bb ratio, so that's encouraging. Hopefully Skaggs turns it around.

    It's always hard to comment on players that are injured or coming off injuries when I'm not a doctor and don't have access to his medical information, but I think Pineda is the right idea at least. I might be willing to take the chance if the market isn't that great for Kendrick, which is entirely possible.

    I don't know if this has been talked about already, but do you like him for the Angels? He's a good groundball pitcher, still pretty young,, and his k's went up a bit last year. I don't know if the Tigers would be interested in what we have to offer, but just tossing a possibility out there.

    Okay, that's the nail in the coffin for me, it is painfully obvious that DiPoto is just another big part of the problem for the Angels.

    **** this trade, it sells Bourjos' value too short, Freese is just an okay third baseman at best, and he's going to be 31. This trade makes us older and Bourjos is a more valuable player than him. Screw this.

    Great trade for the Rangers. Dumb trade for the Tigers if you ask me, Kinsler's slash line has been crap, and he's obviously helped out by hitting in Arlington.

    I don't really care about the Dodgers one way or the other, but just based solely on my experience of Dodgers fans at Angels stadium, they're by far the worst.
