53 (he shares my birthday, though he's four years older)--and he played for the 2001 World Series champion D-Backs!
Using my 5 years of HS math I will say you are 49.

I think Trout wants to stay based solely on his own situation. And the Angels also aren’t going a full rebuild.
After 8 straight losing seasons you would think a new direction should be taken. Very little on FA market and halos minor league system not very good so be hard to trade. They have so many holes to fill. Last year's trade for Renfroe and Urshela did not work. Signing of Anderson has not worked and signing Carlos E. worked for half a year. Who knows if Minasian or Nevin will be back. This team is a mess right now and a new direction needs to be taken or same old results will happen.

I always say this and I always get pushback. We are witnessing a rebuild. Neto, Schanuel, O’Hoppe, Joyce, Soriano, Detmers, Silseth, Rengifo, Moniak are all 25 and younger, with most be 23 or younger.

I'm still worried the Angels are gonna sweep the A's (who are in another full-on collapse) and slip all the way to like 11th position. Not feeling quite as confident in 5th-7th as I was a few days ago.
Halos put away those brooms months ago. No sweep more like get swept

All or nothing…no in between…
Only offer him a minor league deal this off season.

The way to sign a free agent is to offer him the worst contract.
I always thought Dodgers would be front runners for Ohtani. Dodgers usually stay away from long term deals. They have such a strong farm system and seem to find players cheap. Jason Heyward and JD Martinez this year. They also find decent BP help. So, if I'm Dodgers why would I give a guy 500 mill for 9 or 10 years. They sell out all the time and win division every year. I think Ohtani ends up in Seattle.

I wish Walsh nothing but the best. Only sign him and Moose to minor league deals. Save your roster spots, both would only be backup vets.

I’m leery of ever again giving contracts over 6 years.
How has that worked out?
Pujols, Rendon’t, even Trout
I'm wondering how high Dodgers would go. They pick Heyward off scrap pile and sign JD Martinez on 1 year both having very nice years. I know they have the money but they usually do not do long deals. Dodgers also really do not need Shohei as they win year after year. They play in weak division and have great farm system.

@Swordsman78, I don't know what you do for a living, but you should consider politics. You constantly deflect and evade questions. You don't want to be held accountable and you have a high opinion of yourself.

100 percent.
We saw the locker was cleared out at 9:30. Obviously, the most likely scenario is he just shut it down to have surgery, and that's why it was cleared out. We asked Angels PR if they could give us a definitive answer so we wouldn't just have to leave people hanging with "his locker is empty." We waited for a full 30 minutes for them to answer before any of us tweeted anything.
Finally, they just said: "Sorry, we will tell you what's going on tomorrow," even though they acknowledged that the gap was going to leave all kinds of room for wild speculation.
In your opinion odds he signs with Angels?

Sayonara Ohtani-san. Wish we could’ve seen you off properly. Wish we could’ve watched you play your last game knowing it was your last. This is beyond shitty. What a terrible ending. Fuck this movie.

Good ole days 1961 and 1962. 61 first year of halos and 62 second best team Angels had. Those days get a candy bar for a nickel and gas was 30 cents a gallon (some lead in gas in those days).
