Sorry I missed this Fanfest! This was some of the very best of times for Sordy and I. 
I had no idea this was still happening. He was my "conect." LOL.
Things have changed. I am legally blind and I struggle commenting on some sites. Just figuring out on the proper place to respond is a journey!
I am still, and always will be, a fan of our Halos. I will do what I can to make sure I attend next year's Fest. Chuck and the crew always go above and beyond.

ST is very different for me now.
I miss our arguments over food, who's driving, why I didn't get the "right'" pic of him, him killing the battery on my lap top, which strip club is better than the other....and of course our discussions on Angels baseball....THAT I miss most...baseball is not the same for me now. I spent over twenty five years talking and living Halos Baseball with Mike....I miss it, and him, dearly.

Well? We're all waiting...

He was a character and seem to be a genuine fan of the team. I lost my sister to cancer a year and a half ago. She passed four months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Damn, D. A couple days ago I was cleaning out a bunch of emails, pics, etc from my PC and came across a pic of Percy I took of him as we both stood outside the main entrance to Big A before the first home game following Adenhart's death. Everyone took a moment to just look at the tributes fans had left as they walked into the stadium. Looking back, I don't even remember saying a word to him. We just walked up to each other with that blank stare everyone had at the time and slowly shook our heads.

Sorry to bring sad news to you all....
My dear friend, Mike Sword known to us all here as 'Percy Squint' passed away last night after a brief battle with cancer.
Those of you that know him know that he was a HUGE life long Angels fan. He and I started going to Spring Training together back in 1991 and every year since then. He missed last year due to health issues.
 
We have another Angel keeping and eye on us.

It was always easy finding him at ST or in Anaheim. His funny posts and movie reviews will be missed. Rest in peace.

I haven't been around here long, and haven't met anyone here in person, but he's one the more memorable posters. Quite the character.

The first time I saw him was at Throwbacks...that picture seems to capture his personality to a T....effing Skanks!

One of my favorite parts of Spring Training every year was seeing Percy and his hat.  I really missed seeing him and the hat last year.
 
RIP Mike.

Even before I posted here on even a semi regular basis, Percy Squint was a known entity to me..  one of the guys I always made it a point to read.    My Condolences to you and Percy's family.  RIP.

RIP Percy.  In a way, I'm glad his battle was short.  Cancer skus, and if it's long and drawn out, the suffering could be unbearable.  
 
We should rename Spring Fanfest into I'm here to watch baseball, not watch some POS movie or something like that.  Or maybe even have the logo as a sword through the hat.

Jim, I am so sorry you have lost such a good and dear friend. I had only scattered moments with Mike in person and through PMs and will miss him as well. Have to stop, for some reason it is raining on my phone and it isn't waterproof.
