JC was not bad at all, of the 5 runs allowed 2 came from bad defense. All things consider Trout, Upton and pujol's need to stop trying to pull the ball.  

I've said it before 94 is better than 93 and it's working for Bedrosian.

It was one start nothing big. He simply ran out of gas and made 2 bad pitch that was it. It also didn't help with the Ump squeezing the strike zone. look at the bright side he made it through  five innings with out getting hurt. Keep in mind he wasn't the only Ace to loose on opening day.

shoe's splitter has always been filthy but that slider is looking better and better. if he can constantly command both pitches it's going to be a solid year for him.

I have to say, when pujol's is not trying to pull that swing is a beauty.

I've always had my concerned about his elbow and the stress from his delivery,  from going from  low 90s to the mid/upper 90s is exciting to see. If he can keep stay healthy and maintain his Velo deep into the games, we are looking at guys that could be a solid 2. 
Him and Barria are going to be fun to tract and watch. 

IF we can some how get rid of No-Buena, than i am all for it. 

Skaggs has actually shown the ability to be a really good pitcher, 2014 he was pitching like a solid number 3 before TJ , in the pass two years we have seen him show the potential of dominates. For example, last year in most of his starts he would be dominating a line-up, than hit a rough pack  and allows 4-5 runs in a inning, finally he come back and dominate again. I posted this before on the 3 things he needs to work on before;
1.  His mental collapse- too many times have i seen him having a mental collapse when ever he doesn't get a called his way, than next thing you know he has given up 3-5 runs. I didn't watch today game, but i heard he had a mental collapse in the second inning, kinda of disappointing, But hopefully it works out!!!!!!!
2. be more than a two pitch pitcher,  even tho the change isn't that good of pitch, i think if he can mix it in with his fastball and 2 seamer it could be a really good pitch for him to have with his fb and Cb.
3. command, command, command!! what else can i say, he needs to have his comman with the FB and Change. He has enough velo on his fastball that he can get it past hitter, he now needs to command that pitch in the 4 quadrants of the strike join, and similarly he needs to throw that change at the bottom of the zone with better command. 
i said 3, but the 4 one if just my personal view
4. cutter!!- if he can command his change, replace it with a cutter. It'a a pitch that could help him cover the inside against righties and the outside corners against lefties. Would work well with his 2-seamer.

It's crazy the amount of depth that we have build in the pitching department and including the fact that most of our young guys are a pitch, command or both away from rising thru the system. 

I would rather have Trout back at 3rd, Calhoun at second.

Well atleast Bridwell is the same as last year. A fast and quick worker.

Could definitely see Eppler make the Rays Budge, I can say only a few team at this point are interested in Archer. The Yankee's, Nats and maybe Dodgers. 
Something on the lines of- Cron, Jones/ Marsh, Barria and a 2 other prospects. 
  

Hopefully, this means that Thesis is close. I have no trust in Valbuena's bat and Pujols Legs.

Jake is a disaster waiting to happen,  He's had only two phenomenal years so far in his career, his velocity has gone down each of the past 2 seasons ( weaver!), he has not pitched like an Ace since hos Cy young campaign. 
Era/ Fip/Xfip last 2 years.

If thesis does not develop his power, I believe he can be a James loney type of hitter, having him and his OBP in front of trout and the other run producers 8s going to be benefactor to us.

Everything about Canning matches up with Greinke, from height, arsenal and some what of there mechanism. My issue with Canning involves his mechanism, looking at him pitch i feel as if there is a lot of stress on that arm when he pitches. Smoothing his mechanism, similar to how Greinke's  are should fix the issue.
