We aren't catching Houston. Every trade needs to be viewed with that in mind. If there is a move that Eppler feels is fair, he will make it, but it will be made with future seasons in mind and not this one primarily.

The strike zone is atrocious. The five-run lead (er, six now) is somewhat masking it, but this might be the worst I have seen this season. 

I wish he would, this is the perfect game to let him start the 7th inning as he would be starting the inning with at least a 5 run lead.  Let him face batters until he is at 100 pitches.  If he finishes off a hitter with 99 pitchers, let him face one more.

The thing I love about watching him is when he gives up a homer like just now - or multiple runs in an inning like he did against the Dodgers a couple of weeks ago - he doesn't panic, he doesn't melt down... he just bears down and goes back to work. Maturity beyond his years.
