I hope the Angels sweep the Dodgers because I can't stand them and their fans. Bunch of POS. It's not even crazy to think that because the Angels did swept them in 2019.

Trout should steal a couple of bases if he gets on base tonight. This team's idea of not letting Trout steal because of one fluky injury is stupid. Especially when you have the lineup for the Angels in tonight's game.

I don't see Bauer as an "elite" starting pitcher. He's a mediocre starting pitcher to me. Living off one fluky season (2018) and a season that was 60 games long. You're one of the few people who would say that he is an "elite" starting pitcher. He's not even a top-20 starting pitcher. Read that carefully until you understand it. The moron you're quoting was clearly referencing the tweet and misunderstood it, just like you, apparently. 
 As to your drivel on Bauer being 'only good for two months', I'll just leave it except to repeat: It isn't two months. He was elite in 2018. He was injured all of 2019 (again, this is well documented and if you can't grasp that players perform poorly when injured, you probably shouldn't be airing your opinions in public). He continued his dominance in 2020. You're clearly looking for reasons to think he sucks because you already dislike him. I think he's obnoxious, but it's idiotic (especially at this point in 2021) to argue he's not elite. There's just far too much evidence otherwise. 

This is factually incorrect. I assume that since you're just a Trout fan, you must know jack about baseball in general. Players break out. Dylan Bundy must still be a 5+ ERA player by your asinine logic. He broke out in 2018. He was injured most of 2019 - this is well documented - and basically everyone sucks when they try to play through injury. He's an elite player. The best front office in baseball gave him crazy money to play for them. 
Not saying that there aren't reasons for disliking Bauer, but this is again false (care to try for strike three?). That was Scott Brosius' dumbass son making up nonsense. Bauer explicitly said he had no knowledge of whether Trout used HGH or not but pointed out as a general fact that a player might have a medical exemption and that would not be considered cheating. Similar to Beltre. He didn't lie about anything, so you're either ignorant or lying about him.

Did he, though? If you look only at traditional stats, sure, but the first decade of the 21st century was a higher run-scoring context than the second decade, which means the following:
Pujols (as Cardinal): .328/.420/.617, 167 wRC+
Trout: .306/.419/.585, 173 wRC+
Pujols hit for a higher average, but that's just about it. Trout's wRC+ has been slightly higher, which means he's been a slightly better hitter.

I think my favorite version is still 2012-13 - sort of like a combination of Rickey Henderson at his best, but with less steals but more power and average. Plus, that was the best defensive version. But yeah, his hitting jumped to a new level in 2017, and 2018 was the best hitting version of Trout. Too bad he got injured, because he was on pace for 50+ HR and 10.5 WAR, which would have been his best (via Fangraphs).

Well, if he wanted he could steal 50 bases. He stole 49 in 2012 in only 139 games played, and he's only slowed a hair (from 29.7 ft/s in 2015 to 29.1 in 2021, per Statcast). 
But I think the question is: How much is a Trout SB worth relative to the risk of injury? 2017 looms large, when he missed 48 games due to a baserunning injury. He still stole 24 bases in 2018, but then dropped to 11 in 2019 and only 1 last year. Crazy to think that Trout has stolen only 12 bases in his last 201 games played.
I personally would love if he stole 30+ bases a year. In a different era he'd have six 30-30 seasons by now, and one or two 40-40 seasons. But on the other hand, 90% of his value is his bat, and you don't want to risk taking that out of the lineup for a few more SB.
