EdmontonAngelsFan got a reaction from Torridd in Who do you got? Darin Erstad or Garret Anderson
Anderson and that silky smooth swing so much fun to watch. One of my fav Angels growing up.
I also like Erstad too because when I was 9 I sent all the Angels on the team at that time mail to have them send me a signed card. Only Erstad and Percival sent me something back, so I thought that was pretty awesome.
But I take GA over Erstad in this conversation.

Anderson, all day, i think hes perhaps one of the most underrated in franchise history personally.

EdmontonAngelsFan reacted to Stradling in What is the single most impressive play/hit you've seen in person?
Figgins going 6 for 6. Anderson’s 10 RBI game.
Winning the first game back after Adenharts passing.
No hitter after Skaggs passing.

Another...
Vlad’s 9 RBI night against Pedro and the Sox.

wife and I were sitting down the third base line in the reserved section. Remember all those times as a kid pretending in your backyard where you hit a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth of game 7 to win the series? This was about a million times more exciting.
My dad claimed we were at Koufax’s perfect game in ‘65 but I can’t really verify it. I was nay five and don’t remember that specific moment.

Sunday, April 28th 2002 in the 13th inning David Eckstein hit a walk off grand slam. I was in the Diamond Club for the first time and the Usher just said, he hit a grand slam yesterday, wouldn't be great if he did it again?

There must be a lot of old people on this message board.
"Back in aught-eight, I saw Boss Schmidt pop out to Johnny Kling, with Orvie Overall on the mound for the Cubs as they clinched the World Series for the second year in a row."

You're right. I lied.
It was actually a 7 run lead. I said 4 for dramatic effect.

Not exactly sure, but I think it was a game in 2018. We were up by 4 runs and Cam Bedrosian came in and didn't walk the leadoff batter.
I'm pretty sure I still have the ticket stub somewhere.

If you’re upset over Petit and Romo, you clearly have an emotional disorder.

Spring Training thoughts:
As Spring Training begins in a few days i'm excited to watch some of these players hopefully perform very well
Jo Adell, Brandon Marsh, Reid Detmers, Jeremiah Jackson, Jordyn Adams, Juan Lagares, Jared Walsh, Shohei Ohtani, Jose Alberto Rivera and Patrick Sandoval.
Would be nice to finally start seeing a big push from our younger core.
Also hope that Adell and Marsh start year in AAA (which is highly likely) and then both tear it up.

EdmontonAngelsFan reacted to Angel Oracle in Are you attending MLB games this season?
We need fans in the seats AND minor league. No more dicking around, it’s been a year now!
Let fans in with masks and limit capacity. NO MORE EMPTY STADIUMS!
