WAR last three years;  Kole .6, 4.1,3.0, and .8 this year.  Albert 1.5, 3.9, 3.1 and .2 this year.
In other words according to WAR. Albert was a better player in 2013, and 2015.  
Let's look at OPS last three years:. Kol . .809, .775, .773,and .783 this year. Albert .767, .790,.787.  
In other words according to OPS Albert was a better player in 2014 and 2015.
Therefore in conclusion there is no way Kole was.absolutely a better player.  We can play the stat game all you want but it is debatable who has been more.valuable the last two years.  And my original.post.said Kole might be more valuable.
                                    

The Angels have DFA'd 4 relievers this year and noje have been claimed. 
JGuerra, Achter, Alburquerque, Luetge. 
I assume DGuerra will be the same. 
A team that claims someone needs to put him in the majors so teams aren't clamoring to add relievers without options to their big league staffs. 
In a couple days they will DFA Jones too. And no one will claim him either

Yah I mean to be honest I dgaf about name calling for the most part but if that's going to be your go to as a mod atleast don't be hypocritical about it.

He not a cleanup hitter, he the chump who hits 4th in the lineup.  There, that should be good for a home run.

This is the worst the Angels have been in a long, long time. This lineup is laughable, it's hard to keep busy when you usually follow the team closely all summer. 
 
The sad part is how there isn't really a light at the end of the tunnel.

To be fair, I don't recall the last time an Angel made such a bad baserunning decision so I don't think we have anything to compare it too.

It was nice of them to finally get a run in....after they had given up 3 in the top half of the inning.

I don't know. We've seen some of the latter, followed by pats on the back and high-fives in the dugout. Has he ever benched anyone for that sort of stupid play? I don't recall a single instance.

I'd like to think even Mike knows the difference between "aggressive" and "incredibly f**king stupid".

He'll never be benched for that. Scioscia loves aggressive baserunning. It's one of his managerial staples.

As the announcers correctly pointed out, his run is essentially meaningless, so there's no advantage to him trying to take that base, especially with 2 outs.

If there was even a 0.01 % chance of getting thrown out there, he shouldn't have run. I know it doesn't matter in the end but I'm still astounded he did that.
