I think Pujols is fit to be tied.  He's a proud man who wants to contribute, plays hard, plays hurt, but clogs the base paths and knows he is hurting the team.  I know that sounds naïve but I really think this is true in his case.
As far as Trout is concerned,  he's probably the best Angel of all time and I wouldn't want to change it.
I have been critical of the country club atmosphere I perceive during Spring Training.   I think it's OK if they win 98 games but if they aren't a top team I'd like to see more intensity.

The bullpen currently looks like a loose deuce.

Hey, when I first got here (actually the old site) years ago, I got all bent out of shape on the political forum, then realized some there were just joshing with me, giving me the business to get me to react. Everyone here kinda develops a persona and sometimes people pick at that to get a reaction. Don't give them what they're looking for, but turn it around and laugh along with them, and you'll enjoy this place a lot more. 

I'm not trying to be one of those Pujols haters but when I glanced at him from my seats the other night I was impressed with the amount of weight he's put on. He made MCab look like a toothpick when they were standing next to each other. Dude looks like he's in "the worst shape of his life."

Yes, this team is pretty injured, but other than Simmons and Street it's only been roll players. They really haven't lost anyone who projected to be an above average player at his position aside from those two. 

I think we can expect this for at least two more years.

Nothing to worry about at this point. There are only 7 teams ahead of us for the 2nd Wild Card spot. 

Pretty sure Maddon has talent.

It was one good game. Call me skeptical but I agree that if he were to start hitting consistently it would totally change this line up.
