Ohtani, Sandoval, Cobb, Suarez, and maybe Heaney (if not being bad in half of his starts) leaves only one spot in the rotation.
The overworked pen needs reinforcements.   And they need to let Wantz pitch.

I have to admit, I'm in the minority on this one.  I voted yes.
The reason is because I feel like the Angels really have to go for it these next few years, including this year.  With Trout and Ohtani both healthy in August/September, I think we'll have a dangerous team, especially if we can trade for a few good starters to pair with Sandoval, Ohtani, and (I hope) Suarez.
I just don't think we can "wait til next year" again because there won't be many next years where we get prime Trout and Ohtani.  Hell, I'm not sure I'd put money on likely getting *one* more year of prime two-way Ohtani... I just really fear that he's going to flame out as a two way player, given the physical demands of it.  There's an Icarus feel to this season...
Let Bachman be Garrett Crochet this fall (or maybe even K-Rod circa 2002).

I’m going to make a pretty bold prediction.  Some fans are going to like what he brings to the booth and some fans won’t.  Those who hate him will be adamant that he sucks.  A lot of idiots will continue to tell us they miss Hudler. 

I miss Dexter Fowler.

Do I prefer Rocker than Bachman? 100%.
But I'm starting to warm up to grabbing Bachman. I Can say that Bachman has as much upside as anyone in this draft, A true 1. 
Watching the way he pitches, he reminded me alot of Kluber in his prime. Kluber was a Sinker/Slider guy  similar to Bachman. My concern is Bachman mechanics, it's similar to Klubers when it comes to the the arm swing, but Kluber's windup is alot smoother.

Bachman's delivery reminds me a little of Joe Grahe, but I'm sure Bachman is better.

Not sure why Tim Mead is included, but the team hired the dude who supplied the dangerous life-taking drugs to the addict who was struggling with a drug addiction. When you hire someone who causes some kind of damage, you should at least be held partially responsible.
But we'll see how this shakes out. Perhaps it'll be determined in court that the Angels don't have any responsibility.
