I’m with you. At first I wasn’t so sure about the hire and I legit hated Ron from all those years in Texas with Kinsler and Napoli. I hated those Texas teams lol 
 
but now I’m pumped every time I hear a little clip of him talking. The man knows how to fire you up, I was pretty down on The Angels a few months ago but somehow Ron has me pretty pumped up for the season. 

They could keep the A and go with Las Vegas Asses and switch out their mascot to either a donkey or a stripper.

I hate to throw a little cold water on the argument against Bauer.
But phone texts did get revealed that show Hill talking to a friend about Bauer’s net worth before he and she first got together, and both agreeing that she needs to get some of that bag (money).

Seems like an entrapment argument could be used here?

I meant investing in the infrastructure of the franchise…. Minor leagues, facilities, etc

well, investing in the team can have more than one meaning - be it players, management, minors, etc. 
seems like an easy enough thing to be specific about.

Perhaps you didn’t read all of it, but I did mention a big change in attitudes toward Vegas in gambling on sports now being more mainstream. So, yes, I know it’s different now. I live here, and have for 18 years. I also mentioned their overtures to the Diamondbacks in 2018, but I guess that comparison is laughable as well. I’m laying out context and history around our mayors’ public attempts to bring teams to Vegas over the past 25 years. They’ve never made a secret of those efforts. So, from my perspective, having seen previous efforts, it seems very out of character for our sitting mayor to tell a team, who has actual plans to do so, not to come. Now, if you have something to add beyond chiding people for their opinions, then I’m open to civil discussions. If you’re just here to tell people they’re wrong and that’s it, then you can keep scrolling. There’s no value in that.

Actually the mariners are starting to deal with injuries to their pitching staff wouldn’t shock if they finally said f it and grabbed Snell but I hope it’s us. Having snell going into next years FA carousel would speak volumes in convincing guys to play here
