    I don't remember as much panic last year and I think our team was way worse than this going into Christmas. We still have a few months to get better too.

    We got Joe this offseason. We got Rendon this offseason. Without those 2 things, I'd be right on the ledge with you. Maybe Billy shocks the world and gets Lindor+Clevinger but has to give up the farm. Might not be the end of the world if we can go deep into the playoffs. Let's say Billy makes some trades and we end up winning the WS but losing Adell AND Marsh. Would this board be outraged over winning a ws but losing our best prospects?

    Did anyone really think we were serious about Ryu after Billy’s recent comments about our pitching situation? I just hope we don’t lose Adel or Marsh now for someone like Price.

    Reminds me of the article that said the Dodgers signing Treinen was a bigger pickup than us signing Rendon. Said they addressed a need and we didn't.

    I guess players really don't go "home" too often". Trout was a lock for philly. Cole was a lock for OC. Rendon was thought to favor TX.

    Even if he only throws 100 innings or so he's better than what we threw out there last year for >$30M (Harvey, Cahill, etc...).

    Boyd is young and has 4 years of control and has shown flashes of greatness, which is why he will most likely cost us Marsh+ others.
