    I honestly don't think the Angels will throw at the Astros on opening day in Houston but we could really get the world to love us if say we plunked Bregman in his first AB. The world would collectively be Angels fans... Who will get beaned first and when? I say we accidentally hit someone in game 2. Who do you want to get beaned first? Bregman game 1, first AB. Altuve is a close 2nd.

    I truly believe Upton is gonna have an amazing year. With the protection he has around him in the lineup he will see more pitches that he can smack than he's probably ever seen in his life.

    I follow that one guys twitter feed from here that always told us to follow his twitter feed. He said the two prospects we were going to include were Marsh and Adams. Good job Arte!

    And had that trade gone through we'd have a 30+ page thread about the prospects we gave up, which may have very likely included Adams+ others.

    I wouldn't boo the guy. He is on a team that has won their division every year for the past 7 or 8 years (or whatever) and been to the world series multiple times and deep into the playoff regularly. He was about to be traded to a team that hasn't won a playoff game in over a decade. But it was a dumb move on his part tweeting that since the deal could be back on, knowing how this thing is going.

    So why do we have 2 threads and hundreds of posting wondering who to "blame"? haha It seems everyone just jumped the gun and this deal wasn't going to go down unless the original deal went down as first proposed.

    Isn't it as simple as the Dodgers not being able / wanting to take on another 40 man guy (Rengifo) since then ended up getting Graterol in addition to Betts and Price? They didn't plan on Graterol in the original deal so now they don't want to add another man over the 40 man number. As it stands they are already over and wouldn't Rengifo have pushed them even further over?
