Judge is obviously great, and WAR favors him as well. But I can't get over this fact.

Player B

148 IP, 2.48 ERA, 196 SO, 1.041 WHIP

I am guessing more people would choose player B. 

Just saw he is having a pretty good year, add him to the list.

You need these types of pieces to make a deep run in the playoffs (think S. Speizio, M. Lemke, K. Lofton, C. Taylor, etc)... guys that put the ball in play and make things happen...

I get your point, but you do realize Kenny Lofton was a perennial all star much better than those other guys you mentioned. If the Angels had a Kenny Lofton we would be light years better and score way more runs.

He reminds me of Mathis when Mathis led the league in errors. Stassi is a better hitter though, even this year.

Spezio's dad played major league baseball. Orlando Palmeiro had a cousin that was a pretty good ball player. Jeff Davannon's dad played MLB baseball. The Molina's were brothers. Clay Bellinger's son turned out alright. We obviously need more family connections in order to win a world series.
