Reps did it to the dems, now the dems are doing it back just taking it further and I'm sure the reps will take it even further some day.  The only winners in all of this are politicians and people on the far right or left who feed off of it.  Meanwhile the majority will continue to lose.

I'll definitely take 2-1 but it's one of those cases where they could just as easily be 0-3.  The pass defense is average to bad and for the most part yesterday they got dominated in the trenches.  Keenum is better than what they had last year but he is what he is and obviously isn't any kind of long term answer.  Their big name players (Miller, Harris Jr., Thomas, Sanders) are all 29 or older and the team feels like they're in a transition period while they need some of the younger guys to continue to develop.  I really don't think Joseph is the answer at coach as the team doesn't seem prepared some of the time while he makes some questionable calls.  I'm hoping they just finish ahead of Oakland in the division because KC and SD (if Bosa gets healthy) should easily end up taking the top 2 spots barring big injuries.  

So many of the tax increases whether they're for gas/education/whatever say in the fine print a portion of the funds end up in the general fund which is essentially used like a piggy bank for pet projects, to buy votes and so on.  I don't smoke or drink soda and I think taxing those items while not surprising is shady because it's just one more way to squeeze money out of people.  Since I still have to walk by people who are smoking/vaping and so many of the cigarette smokers can't seem to throw the butts into a trash can when they're all over the place I'm fine if they want to tax those aholes.  

I actually live overseas but I've been following this summer. OL looks much better, should be Bolles, Leary, Paradis, McGovern, and Veldheer. With Janovich at FB and a big guy like Freeman running it'll up the play action game and force a safety to run support. Looking forward to playing with a lead once in awhile this year

Terrible timing for the country.  We're already hearing too much from the fringe elements on both sides in regards to immigration (for example - abolish ICE) and this will only make it worse.  My condolences to her family and friends.  I'd like to think the president wouldn't exploit this and drag her loved ones through it but I know that isn't the case.

Under Reagan they granted amnesty back in the 80's to those who qualified and that was supposed to be it yet we find ourselves in a similar situation today only there's about 3x as many illegal immigrants in the country.  It's laughable that this discussion has been going on for decades and it's one of the revolving issues that takes center stage during elections.  They aren't going to tackle the debt, deficit spending or how much we spend on the military.   I'll settle for the feds finally enforcing immigration laws, hopefully coming up with deterrents (hammer employers) and fixing something that should have been addressed decades ago.  I'm not counting on it actually happening though.    

I know we're a year and a half+ in but it still amazes me that the president of the country is using twitter daily to attack people, stir the pot, make threats and the list goes on.   One of the worst trolls online is the leader of the free world and short of moving somewhere with no tv/internet/cell service/radio signal there's no escaping it.  

One cries for smaller government and does the opposite.  The other talks about helping people but a lot of it turns into handouts that don't actually help people make a better life for themselves in the long run.  Two sides of the same coin that stay in power because voters buy into their BS year after year.   Meanwhile a bloated and inefficient government continues to grow, the middle class continues to shrink and personal liberties get eroded.    

Both sides deserve credit for that accomplishment.  Keep kicking that can down the road.
