What makes you think that any large number of democrats support social security for illegal immigrants ? I doubt there’s a strong plurality that support reparations. I am aware that Buttieg (I may have botched his name) is a reparations guy. I can only speak for myself, I’m quite progressive. But I do not support either of those things. I think that in a perfect world there’s a moral argument to be made for reparations being just - hypothetically. But we don’t live a perfect world. There’s no way to quantify the damages owed. How do you identify who’s owed something ? There are other groups that have also been terribly abused in our countries history. So what about them ? I don’t view it as realistic. I think it would be source of severe social discord. I just don’t think it’s something that would be positive. I think the greater good is to focus on programs that help everyone. I do support the idea that permanent residents or other legal aliens who pay taxes, including into social security should have a right to claim benefits (and I believe they do) if they’ll be living here in their retirement years. That only seems fair to me.

Dallas McPherson is one the most massive human beings I’ve ever encountered in my life. I don’t remember exactly what year it was but I was out at the stadium with my brother. McPherson was on the DL again. Anyway we were wandering around on the field level concourse out by the bullpens and I notice this big ass rectangular dude walking toward us. I realized pretty quickly it ws him, because I’m a weirdo like that. I yelled something stupid like “what’s up Dallas’ and he looked back and said what’s up. Kind of funny. Anyway, it’s not just that he’s tall. He is, but at the time the guy was literally the size of like a tank. Anyway. I get why he kept falling apart. People aren’t suppose to be athletic and that big without breaking.

Ohtani is the next guy, but I think we can not worry about that for a couple more years. For me, I’m as excited to watch Ohtani as I am Trout. He’s fantastic.

It’s nothing to do with Arte. The team has been bad despite having the best player. The team has signed several big shitty contracts. And, the other team in the market is in a kind of golden era. It is what is. The Angels don’t get any respect until they win consistently year over year. That’s how it works. For now the bullshit is just something we have to hear.
