Thanks for being complete dog shit Barria.
Literally everyone saw this coming. Apparently Nevin completely forgot about the meltdowns against the A's and Marlins

If they DFA Barria tomorrow would someone really pick him up?
No. They will then pick him back up and use him in the 9th inning of a 1 run game.
-
Nevin just outright threw the game. There's no way he isn't betting on games
-
Barria is absolutely atrocious as a high leverage reliever. I've defended Nevin but he is clearly mentally retarded

Would you rather Loup, Davidson or Devenski
Yes. Now Estevez gave up runs in a non-save situation as closers tend to do and you're stuck with Barria (who should never be used as a high leverage reliever under any circumstances) pitching the 9th.

Good lord. We're realy going to see three utterly useless AB's and then give up 5 runs in the 11th

It's like this team makes it a point to destroy any and all momentum

Crazy move
Guys swinging for the fences in a tie game. Absolutely useless AB

They pretty much have to win here because they're useless in extra innings

Wtf is this shit???
There is a 100% chance we do something monumentally stupid in the next 2 batters

And why in God's name is drunk uncle Escobar bunting?
-
They're setting up perfectly for the 12-11 loss while leaving the bases loaded

Sounds about right
I saw Jared Tims posted something on BTV -
Would swap out Stone for Busch, but something like this would seem about right - likely mid-rotation SP (Nastrini), MOTO LHH (Busch), possible replacement for Renfroe (Ramos), and a possible decent LHH 2B. Something like this would seem to be about right, in terms of expected return.
This is a completely inconsequential return but also about what we can expect. Also we should stay the hell away from trading with the Dodgers because they're adept at trading their overrated prospects (and Stone, Busch, Vargas, and Cartaya all fall in that category)

What even is this defense

The offense fought well tonight. The pitchers sucked ass though
Meh, they did everything in 2 innings and were useless otherwise. And they continue to prove they can;t score if they don't homer
-
Time to go back to swinging at garbage and putting up zero fight

I agree on Wise needing to be evaluated. In all honesty the Angels have not had an excellent pitching coach and a solid pitching identity and direction since Bud Black left.
Seems like a lot of the good work that was done with the staff last year has been completely undone. Everyone's taken a big step back.

These boners seriously just made a 6 run comeback and then blew it in 4 pitches

What the actual shit

Lol here comes the too little too late homer as usual

I checked the score earlier and it was 3-0, now the Astros are up 9-3. 7 losses in a row.
Can we call it a season yet?
Can probably get a head start on the next two seasons too
