    Well I did sign Schmidt to a 10 year contract for the '76 season going forward... now if we could just transplant him from that era we would be set.

    I am sorry but i do not understand the love affair all of you have with the man. Yeah he builds cheap teams... that do ... nothing. Its a constant cycle, Its been happening for years, they go no where. When will the love affair of Billy Beane end?

    This is devastating. Severe knee injury... just great. Skaggs now him. I feel for him and the Angels.

    I have had the exact same injury Josh inflicted upon himself. I had the surgery, and 5 years later I still can not open a soda bottle. Use of my thumb is still not 100%. Not to say that his was not as bad, but that injury will be effecting him for a long time.

    Glad to see a topic like this about about Pujols! I wonder what they will be like when he goes into a slump ? Its awesome to watch this display, reminds me of Vlad when he would go on those monster runs. Now ifTrout would just get out of his little funk, and hamilton gets back.....
