  1. Lol Rays traded a reliever McGee and a minor league pitcher for Dickerson and a minor league pitcher. I still think Dickerson is a product of Coors, but he is better than Blackmon and could still pull his weight outside of Coors.
  2. Blackmon's career line outside of Coors is pretty bad. .241/.283/.370/.653 in 236 games, 878 plate appearances ... rather large sample. Moving to the AL and out of Coors Field .... I would expect his numbers to be even worse. Trading away starting pitching depth for mediocre players is not something I would advise ... especially since you guys don't really have a super threatening rotation as is. Now imagine if an injury occurs at the top. Dickerson is the better player / prospect ... Blackmon would likely be a nobody outside of Coors, but even Dickerson outside of Coors leaves a lot to be desired (though its a smaller sample). Just look at Dickerson's "great" 2014 ... look how much of that is fueled by strong numbers at Coors Field.
  3. Good luck. Blackmon kinda sucks ass outside of Coors Field. Another nice product of Coors.
  4. Maybe just mainly a salary dump for the M's? Also yeah there were rumors about non-tendering him .... it's a whatever move as a Mariner fan. I don't really get it .... but I also don't really care that much one way or the other.
  5. Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnn. A "close personal friend" says Cano feels this way .... yawwwwwwwwwwwn. Dude played through serious illness, the death of his grandfather in ST (who may as well been his father), and a sports hernia injury that he had surgery on as soon as the season ended. He played MUCH better in the 2nd half. Dipoto said Cano's agent "reached out to let me know that did not come from Robbie and that was not at all reflective of how he felt." Dipoto said he has been in contact with Cano multiple times since season ended and has no reason to believe he has a problem.
  6. Eh. Infield depth and years of control gained by trading a 4th outfielder type we got for Ackley with no options left. Not much to really judge here ... but decent move. Certainly nothing that really changes anything ... but it leads me to believe Chris Taylor will soon be packaged with someone and gotten rid of.
  7. Well when you're likely speaking to the casual Yankee fan they may not understand baseball fully. I am sure they'll start filing out of the stadium in another inning or 2 if the score doesn't change.
  8. Maybe if Trout didn't suck ass in August you guys would have won a few more games and wouldn't be in this situation. Trout disappeared in August. So did the Angels. Trout thrived in September. So did the Angels. The only real loser here is Billy Beane ... man the egg that must be on his face.
  9. This is true. Mike Trout is the best player on a non-playoff bound team.
  10. Haven't really known Dave Simms or Mike Blowers to trash on anyone really .... they seem unbiased kind of guys when watching games day in day out. Dave Simms also isn't afraid to let his frustration about the M's show through occasionally.
  11. Cruz, a non-stomach bugged Cano, and Seager say hello. All of those guys hit over .300 at Safeco. Fact is ... if you can hit the ball ... you can hit anywhere. So really the problem is just finding hitters.
  12. I didn't answer your question because I deemed your question stupid. Of course he was ****ing looking at Weaver in case he threw a pitch because he hadn't heard the umpire give him timeout. Holy shit. And I didn't wish Trout to get plunked in the head or anything ... middle of the back is fine. Nothing gonna break there. Just a nice little retaliation pitch.
  13. Your response has literally nothing to do with what I posted. I was making fun of Weaver's high school fastball velocity. So what exactly are you responding to that bothered me last night? Weaver being a drama queen? Pretty sure that is known and he IS a drama queen. So maybe Cezero was actually correct in asking if you spoke English ... or maybe you just can't comprehend it. I do hope Trout gets plunked ... because I'm a Mariners fan and **** Mike Trout. We're both not going to the playoffs so none of this will matter soon anyway.
  14. Or what? He'll get hit with some 83 mph heattttttttt? I've been hit with harder stuff than that back in high school.
  15. I'm sure he was staring at Weaver in case he threw a god damn pitch. I hope Taijuan Walker puts one between Trout's shoulder blades when we see you in Anaheim .... as we help you guys not make the playoffs.
  16. http://gfycat.com/GloomySelfreliantErin He sure musta been telling Weaver to suck his dick after basically saying "My Bad." ........... rightttttttttttttt.
  17. I would not know sir. I live on the eastern seaboard. Come on now. You guys are barely better than the shitty Mariners. And Weaver hasn't won anything of importance in his career. So big damn deal.
  18. I told your sister to stop posting the snaps of my dick on the internet! They are meant only for her!
  19. Lol yeah. He is the one who is the bitch in that situation .... righttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Cry baby Weaver can't handle someone calling time ... then basically saying "my bad" ... then barking at him. I'm sure Weaver's 86 mph fastball really did some damage to Seager as well.
  20. For Derek Lowe AND Jason Varitek. May as well make it much worse than you worded.
  21. Baseball is weird. Astros stomp us. We stomp the Astros.
