    Hisashi Iwakuma has a lower WHIP. Of course lower K's ... but also a lower ERA, more IP, lower BB/9 ... (yeah yeah pitches at Safeco etc) Chicks dig the strikeouts I guess!

    Marinerswin.com doesn't exist and we're a pretty apathetic bunch when it comes to the Mariners. Why care more than they do? Least the season series will be even now.

    Montero needs to abandon catching. Go somewhere ... anywhere ... and focus on hitting. Study pitchers ... etc. He looks like he has no clue whats going on at the plate ... well except against the Angels .... Montero seems to mash them.

    No. He has no place being behind the plate ... and next to no place being beside the plate. At least the other black hole (Smoak) had a decent series. And we should have won this last one .... we had the final out in our clutches ... but Tom dropped the f'ing ball. Series was cursed. Ever since we lost the 15 run lead during that one game years ago in Cleveland. As originally state ... Cleveland is insanely hot this month so far ...

    Cooling off sure. They could have won 3 of the 4 from Cleveland but luck/whatever didn't go there way .... except this last one ... that one was just sad. Completely sad. Their first series loss in 7 total series. Should be a fun 2 game series of 2 terrible teams.
