If he becomes available if I was Arte I’d do everything in my power to get him to Anaheim. He’s one of the top 2-3 baseball people around.

Getting Theo Epstein would be the score of the century. I doubt that happens with Maddon as the manager. But if I had to pick GN/President of baseball operations is way more important than manager. Get it done Arte.

The problem I see in a 6 man rotation is that you are paying guys like they are pitching in a 5 man rotation. Players wont want to be paid less for pitching less. Players want to be paid more. So you are essentially paying players more for less. Doesn't make sense. Ohtani needs to either figure out how to pitch in a 5 man rotation and stay healthy or move him to the bullpen where he can bat daily and pitch when they need him to, or we can just scrap either the pitching or the hitting all together. He is a unique talent, but we can't bend our team every which way just to maybe make it work.

You really need to get control of your messages I can barely read them. I don’t think Arte is just to blame I think Arte takes some blame and some praise for the signings. I think that the GM for the Angels as it’s constructed now does more of the trades and smaller signings. I think Artes hands and rightfully so are on the bigger marquee guys. We saw that when Arte was the guy on the phone with Albert before he signed. I know it’s been 9 plus years but those videos I vividly remember.

It looks like they are open to the idea of a couple people being hired maybe a president of baseball operations and a gm. Looks like they are doing a lot of soul searching. Hopefully we get the right guy/gal this next go around. I am looking forward to the future of Angels baseball.

Nope. As I’ve said before I think Arte is in charge of the big signings. Like he is the one going after these guys. The reports were that he personally made the pitch for Pujols, Rendon and Maddon. I think the GM we’ve had are more focused on other signings.

Despite his poor average. Donaldson actually put up some pretty good numbers this year posting over an 800 ops. I don’t think anyone or maybe they did I don’t know? Wanted Donaldson over Rendon. Rendon is younger and the better player now. Donaldson is still good though. Who knows at that age and with that injury history though for how much longer.

Bauer is the free agent to get. He’s young and you don’t have to vibe up talent to get him. It’s time to find the right guy to make the pitch to sign him.

And Reagins was the GM when Wells was traded for but people blame Arte for that too. Also read what you write before you write it I don’t know what 9n or mame means.

Arte signed Hamilton and Pujols just like Arte signed Trout and Rendon.
