Why did the scarecrow win an award?
Because he was outstanding in his field.

I don't run a billion dollar sports team, but me, as an idiot, thinks that providing EASY and relatively cheap access to your product is the best way to market it.
This isn't 1971 any more, with three channels on your tv and the local twoplex movie house as your only entertainment options. There are SO many other entertainment options out there.
On this board of diehards, most will jump through as many hoops as they need to get the games. But in the real world, many would-be fans will just say 'f it' and move on to something else.
MLB does a TERRIBLE job of presenting their product to fans.

Ray McKigney got a reaction from Chuck in Anybody have HULU? OK for Angels games?
YouTube TV also has all the games and it's got unlimited cloud DVR storage. It also has MLB Network, which Hulu Live TV doesn't have. However, YouTube TV almost stopped carrying FOX Sports Regional Networks last week, but they eventually reached an extension, which will hopefully lead to a new agreement. Also, YouTube TV is $50 per month and, with Hulu Live TV, you'll end up paying about $20 more per month to have comparable DVR storage and to be able to watch DVR'd content without commercials (I think they turn off the capability to fast forward past commercials unless you pay the extra fee).

The extension is great news. I was set to switch back to Hulu tonight so I could watch the game tomorrow. Thanks to all for the update.

Haha. I mistakenly copied and pasted the wrong information. I was only trying to copy the link and it copied all the code, I guess. So, you can go ahead and delete it. Thanks in advance!

Same here. I need MLB Network. I've decided to get MLB TV. I'm hoping a VPN will allow me to watch Angels games live, but if not, I can live with watching them after they're over.

Hulu Plus does not have the MLB Network so that's a hard NO for me. I'm sticking with YTTV.

Yes, that should be the case there. Up here in Oregon, mlb.tv blacks out the Angels games when they play the Mariners (both home or away), because I am in the Root Sports NW market. I can watch the game on mlb.tv after the game is over, but it's usually at least two hours or more after the end of the game before it's available.

I know what you mean. I do the same thing. Follow along on radio and then turn it on TV when I get home. This news ruined my day. Especially since Spring Training games have already started. Thinking about switching to Hulu Live, but it's $20 more per month to have a decent sized DVR storage. It also costs more just to be able to fast forward through commercials for a DVR'd show. Also, it doesn't have MLB Network. Those assholes at Sinclair are fucking everything up. The whole system is breaking down.

I'm so used to getting the home games live...switching back and forth from TV to car radio at times.....I think I wouldn't like having to watch it on delay as much. Yeah, I liked getting MLB network w/o having to pay extra too.
